Very disappointed that @DrHilaryJones is providing misleading information on @GMB and in doing so is adding to the stigma of HIV - PHE guidance is clear that surgeons with HIV can work safely. I am sure he will want to correct his error

Surgeons living with #HIV can work safely. @PHE_UK guidance on healthcare workers and HIV clearly states this. #ItsASin showed us the results of HIV stigma. We're disappointed to see @DrHilaryJones perpetuate it on @GMB. Let's stay educated so #HIV never stands in the way.

Welcomed my baby boy to the world on the 15th September 2020. My 3rd baby to be HIV negative. If you have HIV, take effective treatment and are undetectable you cannot pass HIV on to your partner or children. Fact #UequalU #cantpassiton @THTorguk @Positively_UK @NAT_AIDS_Trust
