HOW TO GET IT REMOVED
You'll need to scroll to the bottom of their website (VERY far down) and find the "Contact us" text and click it. Once there you can fill out and select that you would like to have your information removed and cite the above laws or any laws in your area relating to protecting your likeness, image, and content. (NOTE: if you have more than one social media account, you might have to do this for every single one of them.)
Once you have submitted this, you should receive a confirmation email. Any business that receives this kind of inquiry, especially if your content or any of your brand is copyrighted, has 48 hours to respond before you can proceed with any legal endeavors should they not remove it.
(Adding here I am not a legal expert however, I have had to do DMCA takedowns as well as other types of takedowns using the above.)

THE LEGAL STUFF
You as a person, content creator, and streamer if in the US are broadly protected under US Federal Law 15 U.S.C. ยง1125 (Section 43(a)), also known as the Langam Act, which states "Any person who uses false or misleading representations, descriptions of fact, or designations of origin in connection with goods, services, or their containers in commerce shall be liable in a civil action if it causes confusion and misrepresents advertising." This means that no brand or business can use your likeness to promote their goods, services, or any form of monetizable commerce if you did not give your explicit consent.
There are several other laws depending on your state that also emphasize the protections of content creators, streamers, and or influencers when it comes to their creative assets, image, likeness, and even their voice. You can check your State's legislative database to learn more. If you are not in the us, you can also search for government websites to learn more about the laws that protect you and your country regarding the above.

I wanted to bring awareness to something that is affecting you as a streamer and you don't even know:
There is a website called the Social DB based out of Toronto, which uses publicly available APIs and information to create a profile of you on their website, which then lists false information regarding your creator rates of pay and the means of contact. This means the website is using your image and likeness to show false affiliation and in all likelihood, they could use you to monetize and you would never even know.

Streamers and #Vtubers check and get your info removed asap!!

Iโm tired of seeing a bunch of call out posts and Google Docs about cases that shouldโve stayed private.
Accusations get thrown around as well as some nasty words for usually NO reason.
Relationship didnโt work out? Move on
Friendship ended? Stop digging up stuff, move on
If you constantly gonna live as a victim and defy yourself by it youโll be miserable. Social media isnโt everything, go out into the real world.
Live a happy and a free life. Donโt think about people that did you wrong. Shit happens but the earth will keep on spinning.

I haven't said anything about the current situation here as anything I would want to say echoes what others have already mentioned. But I want to make sure folks know where I stand on the entire situation:
I feel heartbroken and frustrated. Not only by how this situation started, but how it has escalated and so far been handled by DBD. All we have been given is a post (not even on the main account) with words that mean little.
I don't understand how someone can go on the offical DBD Twitch account, at home, out of work hours, potenially under the influence and "collab" with a creator without prior authorisation, not to mention the creator involved/the fan base they enable. Their flippant response to this entire situation shows how meaningless that "collab' was to them as it's just another meme for them to use for content.
Something so small to that creator has left an entire community distraught over the weekend, getting all kinds of comments, slurs & threats on their socials, DMs and streams... ALL because of one decision made by one employee.
How can you build a community over the last 10 years that stands for equality, representation and acceptance... to just lose all that confidence with one decision? Is this what your company stands for or is this just one rogue employee who has taken advantage of their position?

Hey guys, weird take. But if someone no longer wants to support you or be your friend due to your views, guess whatโฆthey can do that. Like itโs called free will. You said something they donโt align with and you expect them to stick around? You are weird for that.

The fact that there are creators who are getting targeted and harassed because they chose to keep playing DBD because itโs their job and itโs what pays their bills is baffling to me. I understand wanting others to join the cause and boycott the game, but attacking someone because of their financial situation is not the way to go. We should all be supporting and lifting each other up right now, not tearing each other down. Weโve been through enough this weekend. Letโs continue to be kind and respectful to one another. ๐
