Yeah, because these emulators and Recomps are still in early development and I want to wait until they are in a good state before playing

Directory name is crazy work. Nintendo ninjas see all of this. Move accordingly.
Nintendo: we will never allow games to be put on other systems!!! 😡 People who love preservation and emulation: "Yer new console got hacked let us find the kernel, prepare and create more modchips" Jokes aside i am slowly working on a switch 2 emulator that is backwards compatible with the og, it currently looks like a mess but it will be open source so others can fix up on any mistakes and fork it and play on whatever hardware they want i would love to see mario kart world running on a smart fridge. teapaw.org/CrazyRuckusN64/status/…

Except this isn’t emulation- this is at best a test of the decrypted files from a previous dump. No Switch 2 emulator yet exists, and the projects pending are waiting on firmware keys to work.
For the past week ive seen the most pathetically annoying sniveling nerds insist that the Switch 2 exploit was a nothing burger and was slop. Because of that exploit, we are now getting Switch 2 emulation. If youre anti ai in 2026 youre anti progress and gaming

It’s funny because the usual suspects that totally hate Nintendo come out of the woodworks to tell you how happy they are to play Nintendo games in the weirdest, but expected twist of irony🥃
Outside of piracy, I'm all for Switch 2 hacks. It's always fun seeing homebrew software. Unfortunately, we know how this goes...........

Because you know what the context is- something that actually has persistence and isn’t tethered to the system and using a layered programming language in backwards compatibility mode to operate. You know, access to boot0.
You went from the rom dump meant nothing to now explaining what a recompilation is. So clearly the rom dump did mean something huge. And that's how this shit goes, gotta start somewhere and then it grows.

That JUST happened and requires a complete recompile to exist on other platforms w/o keys, and will run/look like trash until each and every game is optimized on a case-by-case basis. I’m not rewriting a game or dumping it off to Claude just for that result, and neither are you.
I mean MK World is running on Mac OS right now. But yeah, it's doing nothing. teapaw.org/willfaustcuber/status/…

This guy spitting my bars line for line and I’m here for it😅🥃
Friendly reminder because people on here are setting themselves up for a rude awakening: “archival backup rights” or "it's for game preservation" does not protect dumping modern currently available console games. Section 1201 of the DMCA explicitly makes it illegal to bypass access controls and hardware encryption. You can’t dump a Switch 2 cart without breaking Nintendo’s cryptographic keys first, which immediately blows up the personal backup defense. And creating or sharing the toolkits to do it directly violates federal anti-trafficking laws—which is the exact legal weapon Nintendo just used to erase Yuzu from the internet. Also, to everyone publicly posting gameplay footage and bragging on here that they dumped a Switch 2 cart: you are literally uploading public video evidence of federal copyright circumvention and hardware EULA violations. Nintendo’s legal team doesn't need to guess who to subpoena or ban when people are handing them signed confessions on a timeline. You're basically telling them to hit you up.

They need to talk to MonolithSoft, but Nintendo will NEVER let that slide🫠😁
With all due respect, Nintendo isn't putting out a game that heavy in scope, and they never will.

Nintendo never invested heavily in AI. Let’s not be coy either- Nintendo is the entire reason you’re making this post because PS5 emulation has been ongoing for months and no one cares to crack Series X.
There's something quite poetic about these gaming companies investing billions into AI only for it to be used to hack and emulate all their consoles.

What’s so crazy is how Switch/Switch 2 have completely validated Wii U as a concept- too many threads and comments online talk about how they use the hybrids INSIDE. Sure, you can take Switch outside, but if the masses knew that Wii U could do the other half without at TV…👀🎮
Playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on handheld has a completely new meaning now.

I’ve had way too many conversations ending with “I didn’t know you could do that with THIS ONE TOO” when I’ve showed them this in person. It’s CRAZY this information still isn’t out almost 25 years later.

Crazy thing about me: I’ve NEVER jumped over Koopa in this game- I’d Fire Flower him to death or run under him when HE jumps. 40 years and I’ve never changed this strat🤷🏾‍♂️
Shigeru Miyamoto revealed what he considers to be the most intriguing aspect of the first Super Mario Bros. game: "And the biggest invention, or rather, the most intriguing aspect of Super Mario, is that Mario doesn't actually fight Bowser. Normally, if there's a boss at the end, you have to fight him, right? But creating a battle is difficult, and we were really struggling with how to do it. When I thought, 'I can't create a battle like this,' I realized that since it's a game where you keep running to the right, how about making it so that the person who reaches the far right wins? Then I had a brilliant idea: 'Why not just jump over the opponent instead of fighting?' All you have to do is jump over Bowser, and he'll fall. I found it surprisingly fun when I tried it, and I was really happy when I realized that." polygon.com/nintendo-super-m…

Then there’s ZERO REASON to EVER extract the keys, yes? Just keep your PC dongled to it or linked over FTP, and enjoy Lois Griffin as Peach MarioKart forever, yes?🙃🫠
Makes me pissed when people thinks we only want to hack the Switch 2 for piracy. MODS, I'M HACKING IT FOT MODDING.

Nintendo 'upholding physical releases' while selling you a download code in a plastic case isn't upholding anything. $80 games, a $50 console price hike, and key cards as the default physical option. 🧵
