Many American baseball fans disagreed with my last tweet so here's an open challenge to all baseball fans
Can anyone name even ONE clutch baseball player who has hit a ball travelling at 90mph ?
I can name 4 to 5 clutch cricket players who have done it multiple times
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
MLB four-seam fastballs averaged 94.8 mph in 2026 with thousands of 100+ mph pitches thrown and routinely hit by batters including in World Series and other clutch situations.

Hey @Brewers first off Congratulations!
If I may be so bold, if there is an alumni float on the parade, I would be very honored to be a part of it.
Matter a fact, I would be honored to be involved in anything to do with the celebration and festivities.
I know it would mean more to me than you…
But, there was a time…..
