I will never tell my kids to abandon their dreams for a “safe” life. A day job might pay the bills, but it doesn’t have to kill the bigger vision. Strategy matters. Quitting on yourself doesn’t. “Your life is yours and yours alone. Rise up and live it.” — Terry Goodkind Are you raising your kids (or living yourself) with this mindset, or did you get the “be realistic” talk growing up?

If things have been hitting the fan in your orbit over the last few days, it is a full moon in Taurus in opposition to the sun in Scorpio. Full moons generally feel like there's an energy of shedding light on things that aren't working, and that can bring problems to the surface. Oppositions, well, those are conflict generators as well. And let's not forget Mercury just starting to go retrograde, signaling issues with communication and technology mishaps as well. Basically a recipe for stress. Take it all with a grain of salt and live your life, but I've learned through experience to keep an eye out for these things. So heads up.

Regarding the mid-terms: all things considered, I live in a solidly red state anyway and my vote isn't going to matter one way or another. I may sit this one out or just vote Libertarian simply because I don't like making the good ol' boys of the status quo too comfortable. And clearly, they are.

I applaud the Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan standing by his friendship with Marilyn Manson in the face of all the controversy and accusations. Although Manson himself acknowledges he's no stranger to controversy and misbehavior, and who knows what could have happened, I'm with Billy in doubting the credibility of the stories in their entirety. It also seems clear to me, after investigating and hearing the other side, that there was an orchestrated campaign against Manson, as well. And when the waters are dirty, everyone gets mud on them. That's not an excuse, but it is an observation on the state of innocence versus guilt for all involved. That, and Christ-like love for sinners transcends all things, anyway. variety.com/2026/music/news/…

Trump complimenting Nikki Minaj's ass at a rally puts us in kind of an interesting position. People can't truly rush to the defense of a woman who has deliberately made her ass a spectacle for the world to see without the whole thing feeling farcical, but they can bemoan the state of what's considered appropriate, albeit somewhat prudishly considering the complete context of the times we live in. I don't want to normalize our leaders publicly objectifying women, even if in a well-intentioned way - but I'm also not going to clutch my pearls. The rational take is that this is just Trump being Trump and it's what was voted for, warts and all, because the alternative was considered worse. But pearl-clutching is what people do when they are looking for something to gain, and with the mid-terms upon us, there is much at stake.

KABOOM: Trump says he is set to release how NATO working with the deep state started the Ukraine-Russia proxy war. TRUMP SAYS HE WILL RELEASE DETAILS ON HOW THE UKRAINE WAR REALLY STARTED ONCE HE ENDS IT REPORTER: “You want Zelensky out. Have you forgotten that President Putin started the war?” PRESIDENT TRUMP: “Well, you know, I know the details, okay? And at some point I'll release the details. But I don't care anything except for one. I want that war ended. 25,000 soldiers on average a month are being killed. Last month it was 32,000 soldiers. And I think the 2 leaders— I deal with both of them— I think they want that war ended too. And I think it's going to end. That's all I I care about. I want that war to end.” *It’s like 90% America, NATO, & the EU & 10% Russia. The MSM wants you to believe the opposite but that ignores Maidan Revolution, America flooding Ukraine with NGO’s & weapons, Ukraine shelling the Russian regions of Ukraine unprovoked and kicking them out of Ukraine society, the neonazis in Ukraine, trying to add Ukraine to NATO despite being told by Putin he’d go to war, the breaking of the Minsk Agreements, and more.*
This is THE BIG LIE! Watch The French president Emmanuel Macron Attempt To Frame The French People For His Deliberate Facilitation Of The U.N. Replacement Migration Invasion! “How can French people do this to France?”

My kids gave me a statue of Cyclops (from the X-Men) for my birthday a few years ago, and it's pretty cool. But the other day it fell from my book shelf and I cried out in alarm, "Scott! No!" My kids just looked at me. It was fine. 😅

Johnny Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls said the same thing a few weeks ago. Glad to see James Hetfield and Sharon Osbourne following suit. Let's hope this is a trend that catches fire! 👇👇 James Hetfield made a declaration to fans at one of Metallica's Las Vegas Sphere shows over the weekend and Sharon Osbourne is in full agreement. "I just gotta say, Metallica is not here, like some other entertainers, to influence you with their bullsh*t, okay? We are here... no bullsh*t... we're here to forget about all the outside sh*t, okay? Metallica's agenda is love, energy and heavy music, baby," the Metallica frontman said during their Oct. 10 concert. Sharon reposted a video of Hetfield's onstage remarks on social media and added, "I agree 10000%."

Instead of the $5000 checks, how about Congress just repeals the income tax code and doesn’t collect one.

In the video, they just forgot about gigantic Greek temples and immense statues, but we’ll take care of that.

The Demiurge doesn’t have to be understood as some evil being sitting outside the universe, keeping us trapped in matter. The Demiurge is the ego within us….the part of consciousness that divides reality into categories, gives everything a name, and then mistakes those names for reality. It creates a world out of things like memories, judgments, fears, desires, identities, and expectations, then convinces us that this mental construction is the world. Like the Demiurge of the old Gnostic stories, it believes itself to be the ruler of everything because it cannot see beyond the boundaries of what it has created. Liberation isn’t about escaping the material world. True liberation is seeing through the false world the ego has built on top of it. The trees aren’t the prison. The body isn’t the prison. Ordinary life isn’t the prison. The prison is the endless commentary telling us what everything means, what we are, what other people are, what should have happened, and what must happen next. When that internal machinery becomes quiet the external world remains, but the Demiurge loses its throne. What’s left is reality before we divide it, name it, judge it, and turn it into something else.
