I don't think people crapping on VRChat anyway have issue with that..... it exactly reason why Somnium plays that tactic, they just dont get another EAC moment to gain capital from that as much as ChilloutVR did and this is not such moment as its not really impacting user expariance as downgrade from lack of mods did
Replying to @ValidErmine54
They didn't choose to protect them, now you will able to review bomb them now, something that VRC been deliberately avoid to do to protect world makers.
Replying to @pupg0r3 @bratbun3D
it was in title of the survey. "Some kind of" is the key problem here.... what is that some kind thing? that was whole point of survey that people seem to not understood at all
Replying to @RCaracal
There is alternatives like Somnium which complains about VRChat as much as them, there Basis, things is for many it is not serious issue enough to leave there friends that will stay. There was already migration episodes like that during EAC implementation but that did really impacted VRC visibly. Note how many people don't even talk about that, they just talking about unsubscribing.

Well let me translate this way, that drama in community (which happens anyway btw) is a lot more manageable then them needing to draw a line and dealing with drama related to it themselves as part of there job and community wont be there to help them as they will be as much as undecided as they been in survey.

I guess they see it as better solution right now
Replying to @Melting3D
It's not like they didnt like results, they never said that, it simply didn't give them clear answer for everyone to be happy because everyone draw that that line differently, and this is what makes things complicated. You not the one that NEEDS to draw a line bare consequences of it, thats why it looks so simple for you.
Well clearly VRChat at this point don't mind that as much no body was concern of Steam review bombings, starting with fact that anti ai crowd may not be big enough to leverage anything and you could say those those minus ratings may be penelty for using ai, And again you dont need to display those dislike numbers
Rating system is not harassment and you always have a option to not implement dislike and use like to visit ratio or make dislike number invisible. No body will get banned for dislikeing as its not agains the rules.

Exacly, and they didnt fround middle ground, insted they decided to wait up with label and implemented other ideas people view overly positively and see how things shift
Replying to @KasFerret
They not doing nothing, they exploring different ways then labeling
Replying to @siggyscorp
You really think that people may lie by not labeling with AI either?
Replying to @rectal_rentals @honeymoss_
Because it easier to draw a line with art, they don't have that label in booth which they also own. People missing the point of survey, it was never about "having label or not" question, it was clearly in the title of it "where to draw a line?". It's super easy to say add a label, it more difficult to say when and survey didn't give them clear anwser
Replying to @KyoujinTheHyena
Things is community that dont know what they really want, because they don't want EAC, but also don't want flying hackers around there heads like old timer before EAC
Replying to @honeymoss_
You also need to remember that atmosphere is way diffrent in japanese things and it is huge chunk of VRChat that keeps entire thing alive. It would be interesting to see answers par region
Replying to @_Atlas17
"some sort" is the key word here, whatever there should be a label or not it's not question they been look answer for. the real quastion they been asking was in title "where do you draw a line?"
