NTSB to hold a media briefing today on yesterday's crash of a Learjet 60 airplane in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. NTSB Member Tom Chapman will brief the media at 1:00 p.m. EST at the Emergency Operations Center, 20 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33415. π¨ALARMING: Power outage hits Washington, D.C., a day before the U.S. midterm elections.
Nearly 80,000 customers are WITHOUT power across the U.S., including outages in Washington, D.C., per PowerOutage's data.
- Pepco reports 1,176 customers without power in Foggy Bottom, just blocks from the White House.
- Traffic lights and federal facilities, including the State Department, are affected.
- A substation failure is the probable cause. No restoration time is confirmed.
- The outage affected about 1,800 customers near Morristown and voting sites in Wittmann and Circle City.
- Brief AT&T connectivity issues also affected some voter check-in devices.
- Officials said 99% were functioning and no voters were turned away.

Weβre told he hopped on a flight earlier this week after catching wind of the BOMBSHELL story about his recruitment to run for Senate to confuse voters β despite being holed up in his house for the ENTIRE rest of the election.
Decoy Dan is MIA, and FBI is hopefully hot on his trail.

The Baton Rouge Police Department came by, took photos, and collected my statement. Unfortunately, the Marriott didnβt have security cameras covering the parking lot. There was a small camera near one of the doors, but it didnβt capture anything. In total, two brand new lawnmowers were stolen. These were two that were in there for two kids I had to visit in IA. A few books that arenβt damaged. Itβs unfortunate and frustrating, but thatβs life. Things happen, and we keep moving forward.

Sadly, I woke up to some heartbreaking news this morning here in Baton Rouge , Louisiana. Someone broke into my van overnight, shattered two windows, stole a lawnmower, and ransacked everything inside. Itβs honestly heartbreaking and deflating, especially when youβre simply trying to do good and make a difference. I canβt understand why someone would do something like this. Iβve contacted the police, and Iβm currently waiting for them to arrive and process the van for fingerprints. Unfortunately, this means I wonβt be able to attend the Louisiana Book Festival today as planned. I was really looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing my books, but right now, Iβm just trying to process everything that happened.

π¨LATEST: Binance hackers are using NEVER SEEN BEFORE laundering patterns as stolen funds are being rapidly circulated through thousands of transactions, per Chainalysis.
Instead of moving funds along a straightforward trail, the attackers repeatedly send them between wallets, including back to addresses used earlier.
The speed and repeated patterns suggest automation designed to obscure the money trail.
Binanceβs Richard Teng says the attackers used a βself-destruct mechanismβ to destroy tools and traces during the intrusion.
Early findings from Elliptic showed almost NONE of the stolen funds had reached mixers, bridges or exchanges, making the unusual wallet movements particularly striking.
They also rushed to swap freezeable stablecoins into assets such as ETH and move funds between addresses before blacklists could catch up. These efforts were only partly successful.
The tactics complicate tracing and recovery, but they do not make the stolen funds invisible.
