The purpose of the Scholarly Editions and Translations program is to support collaborative teams who edit, annotate, and translate foundational humanities texts that are vital to generating new scholarship but are not available in adequate editions or translations.

SEG conducted a July site visit to Detroit for the Concert of Colors. Senior Research Associate Audra Nikolajski engaged with educators & teaching artists as they convened at the concert & visited the Institute of Arts, Historical Museum, and Arab American National History Museum

Congratulations to East Carolina University on their work to increase the number of graduate students using a convergent approach to address problems associated with climate-led coastal change and the interrelationships between ecosystems and communities.

In April 2026, SEG conducted a two-day site visit to Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College (A-B Tech) in North Carolina to review progress on the College’s federally-funded Title III RISE Above project.
This grant program strengthens the capacity of higher education institutions in insular areas to carry out resident instruction, curriculum, and teaching programs in the food and agricultural sciences through distance education technology.
