Ever since I was a young child, I have dreamed of taking up five spots parking horizontally in the Elbow Drive Safeway parking lot
Man it must be easy to write $WCP press releases just copy paste “we beat guidance we beat forecasts and our assets are epic and we are building infrastructure faster and drilling wells quicker and we made a lot of money this quarter we have almost no debt still see you in a few months”
Just change the date and send to CISION or whatever top shelf newswire company they use.

Well done @JeromyYYC
You see something like this -- and all you can do is smile, knowing how safe the PHX dividend must be.
Despite this well being directionally drilled by an off-brand peer, look at the impressive length of the specimen. And the mid-lateral curve... just divine.
I would like to share 3 wells this evening -- in my professional and unbiased opinion, the way these wells have been drilled are so exceptional, there is not a single company that could have executed this other than Phoenix Directional Drilling.
Notice the way that the ARC well in picture 1 narrowly misses the legacy vertical well. Almost evokes an emotional response similar to a good poem. Executed with the steering capabilities of an F1 driver mixed with the calm-cool-collectiveness of a professional hostage negotiator.
In the second photo, note the almost acrobatic curves of the Ovintiv and Birchcliff wells -- something that Phoenix's inferior peers could only dream of. The way the Birchcliff well embraces its Lower Montney offset wells, like a tight hug at Christmastime. The western Ovintiv well can only be described as artistic -- combining the pirouettes of a Cirque performer, with the precision of a neurosurgeon tracing the outline of your prefrontal cortex.
If PHX's competitors tried a stunt like this, it would look like 2 year old trying to write their name in crayon next to PHX's drill pipe calligraphy. These are closer to a young Michelangelo carving the David out of a single block of unforgiving Montney siltstone than they are oil and gas wells.
Lucky for us, PHX is available to be acquired on the TSX for the low price of $7.31 per share, offering a juicy #PaidToWait 11% yield in a nearly unflappable market segment (drilling service providers). Many have compared this industry to bedrock, and I tend to agree -- OFS could be called the "Craton of the Energy Industry". Disclosure: I am a fairly sizeable shareholder, and personally long 100.0 shares of PHX.

The CEO of @Prospera_Energy @WhiteTundraSG would like to go on vacation with you. Just don't leave your wallet on the nightstand.
Are you sure about that?
The next big opportunity in Canadian energy may not require drilling new wells.

I took a Lime scooter downtown this morning and a lifted truck pretty aggressively cut me off on 26th Ave.
Bring a tear to me eye. I would’ve done the same.

BREAKING: After over a decade of dormancy, Grizzly Algar Lake SAGD project has ramped to a rotund 450 Bbls/d in September. The project is injecting steam at nameplate capacity of ~7,000 Bbls/d, which should see oil rates climb to ~1,700 Bbls/d with time.
Grizzly's history is fairly interesting, and worth the time to read about where they got some of their assets and funding. But they have a ton of acreage and some might consider them a potential acquisition target.
Folks will be RIVETED to Petrinex to see how this story unfolds.

My guilty pleasure (one of many) is watching acoustic and instrumental covers of “Creep” on Instagram. They’re all so good.
A little strange to me there's a counterparty out there that says "you know what, you take the liquids, and we'll take the AECO exposure", and are paying for the privilege.

There is infinite natural gas. And limited Pokémon cards. Good lesson on commodity scarcity….
man it's a tough look for ur industry when you spend decades becoming the largest US nat gas producer with the most <$2/mcf B/E inventory w/ integrated midstream...
and u have a lower market cap than Pokemon cards (literally just cartoon animals printed on cheap cardboard)
Pokémon collectible cards are almost catching up to NVIDIA in returns over the last 8 years.
The Card Ladder Pokémon Index grew roughly 40x from early 2019 through October 2026.
NVIDIA stock returned about 41x over the same period.
It outperformed Bitcoin, gold, and the S&P 500.
Sources: Card Ladder / Blockworks, October 2026 reports.
As is tradition, because I hate myself, every month I pull up the Veren PnP disaster wells as just take it all in. Sometimes I close the windows and turn the lights off -- just a dim screen in the corner of my office with a cum-time curve.
A cum-time curve that's in 1st place.
BREAKING: Could the "B" in Baytex stand for "BACK"?
Bluesky step-out 6-miles from their Reno oil pool (discovered/ramped in the early 2010s) hit a peak rate of a fairly rotund ~190 Bbls/d of crude bitumen AKA "black gold", at a respectable ~60% water cut, in September.
This is on a Paramount (formerly Koch Oil Sands) lease, and the logs look phenomenal. 20% core porosity and 5m of nice, clean sand. Baytex surveyed 8 wells to be drilled off this pad, with this first one a success folks will be looking for follow up drilling in the near future.
