⛽️ BREAKING: Oil and petroleum-product flows from the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman have fallen sharply, with the 7-day average dropping to roughly 13 million barrels per day, according to Kpler shipping data. ➤ That is approximately 37% below the prewar average of 20.5 million barrels per day, despite a brief recovery to near prewar levels in mid-October. ➤ The figures include shipments through the Strait of Hormuz and exports from terminals in Fujairah and Oman, but exclude Iran. They also exclude escorts through bypass routes the Red Sea. Kpler cautions that figures for the most recent 14 days remain provisional and may be revised upward as additional tanker movements are confirmed.

The U.S. and Israel are preparing for a possible week-long bombing campaign against Iranian leadership, energy, nuclear and infrastructure targets after the U.S. midterms, according to Axios. Israeli military chief Eyal Zamir and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper discussed coordination ahead of potential attacks on Monday.
Qatar-led mediators are seeking a deal to restart U.S.-Iran negotiations and avert renewed war after the U.S. midterm elections, according to Axios. The proposal would allow UN inspectors back into Iran’s bombed nuclear sites in exchange for limited U.S. sanctions relief.

Hours after clashes between Internal Security forces and Omar Omsen's "Firqat al-Ghuraba" near the French Camp in Harem that led to the killing of French fighter "Abu Ayman al-Faransi," two Defense Ministry personnel were assassinated in al-Fuah, Idlib. It was not immediately clear who carried out the attack. Local sources reported that Omsen had contacted groups in al-Fuah and Kafraya to head to the camp after his group vowed to respond to the killing.

Most of those think tank guys have gotten extremely attached due to working on Syria for a decade, possibly their entire career at this point, it's also why they were so eager to jump on the "HTS is good now" train even before it was honestly that evident or safe to claim so.

📌 Syrian Internal Security forces in Idlib killed a French foreign fighter known as "Abu Ayman al-Faransi" today near Harem, sparking renewed tensions around the "French Camp" (Al-Fardan camp) on the Turkish border. 📌 While fighters from the camp accused state forces of assassinating Abu Ayman in an ambush, Idlib’s Internal Security Command said that a patrol intercepted an armed group exiting the camp toward Harem in violation of an agreement barring them from leaving with weapons. 📌 According to the Interior Ministry, the militants opened fire when pursued, prompting return fire that killed one fighter, wounded a civilian, and damaged a security vehicle. 📌 The camp houses French-speaking fighters from "Firqat al-Ghuraba," led by Omar Omsen (Omar Diaby), a US-designated terrorist wanted by France. 📌 The weapons ban stems from an October 2025 siege of the camp by Syrian security forces, launched to rescue an abducted girl and end Omsen's independent rule, which concluded with a truce restricting the group's arms to the enclave.

You can tell Syria really made everyone crazy because you now have Washington deep think tank people (such as Lister) openly hinting that Israel is an Apartheid regime essentially only because Israel is hostile to Syria after the fall of Assad

Not surprised by this at all. The split between Saudiya and the UAE was dramatic and the UAE has no loyalty to anyone but itself. It is a revisionist power par excellence.

🚨🚨🚨Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's far-right coalition is projected to lose its parliamentary majority, but his opponent Gadi Eisenkot's bloc is short of 61 seats, according to Israeli exit polls. My report on @axios axios.com/2026/10/27/netanya…

Increased pessimism in the Eisenkot camp. The turnout seemed to heavily favor them heavily early on, but the hysteria of the Likud worked and turnout improved. Meanwhile, Bennet has gotten stronger at his expense. So they are planning for a situation where they are the second-largest party but have the larger bloc behind them.

#Syria hardened its stance on the Jordanian attack carried out yesterday in the South. While the Syrian Foreign Ministry initially expressed "reservations" about the Jordanian airstrikes in a statement last night, this morning, as the civilian death toll was confirmed, Damascus officially condemned the attack, calling it an unacceptable violation of its airspace & the principles of good neighborly relations. Jordan maintained its official line, saying 20+ #ISIS terrorists were killed & a "major ammunition depot" destroyed, while also expressing "regret" over the civilian casualties. Amman also stated it ran out of patience with the presence of terrorists near its border. Such wording is surprising given the high level of relations between Damascus & Amman, incl. through a joint security committee. The death toll stands at 7: one woman, 3 children, a young & and 2 elderly men - most were killed in the remote tribal area of Lajat (red dot on the map). Joint investigations are ongoing to identify the failures that occurred last night & a joint committee will be formed to fight ISIS. But in an unusual remark, Syrian foreign minister said the incident was the result of "suspicious parties" seeking to undermine relations between the 2 countries - hence the question: how did Jordan obtain the coordinates it bombed? Today, Nasib border crossing - the only crossing between Syria & Jordan - is closed after protests erupted last night on the Syrian side. This hurts both countries, but Damascus even more, as vital goods & reconstruction materials transit through the crossing every day. Both sides are expected to work to avoid a diplomatic crisis, but this situation could have been easily avoided with proper communication.

A year has passed since the beginning of El-Fasher massacre, one of the worst episodes of ethnic-based genocide since Rwanda genocide three decades ago. Rapid Support Forces, a UAE-sponsored militia waging brutal war against Sudan's military government has long before then been accused of ethnic cleansing of Darfur region. They targeted and killed non-Arab inhabitants of the region for years, but on October 26, 2025, when besieged city of El-Fasher fell to the militia, violence reached an unprecedented level of brutality. Tens of thousands of civilians were systematically gunned down in the streets, in hospitals and while trying to flee the city. Many militants filmed themselves commiting the massacre, and then subsequently published said videos online. Piles of bodies and gigantic blood stains on the desert were visible from space on satellite imagery. Yet despite overwhelming evidence, and brutality unheard of in decades, the massacre was mostly under-reported in the Western media sphere. UAE continues to sponsor RSF to this day. May the world never forget.
