The fact the Scottish Gov protected Scots health data and our NHS from being sold off to US tech giant Palantir really doesn’t get enough credit. Do feel for patients and the NHS in England. We dodged a bullet on that one thanks to the SNP!
Every hospital in England has been urged to disobey an NHS directive to use software operated by US analytics software company Palantir. A coalition of human rights, health and patient organisations, and unions sent out the plea to NHS trusts by email bmj.com/content/392/bmj.s481…

We think we can say without fear of contradiction that Scottish voters didn't vote Labour in 2024 to send House Jocks to London to read out planted questions attacking the SNP and traducing Scotland. Labour's cowardly colonials are a modern day political scandal.

The BBC's assault on Glasgow should concern everyone in Scotland. The city is collateral damage just as everything in Scotland is when it comes to politics and the BritNats. The constant caricaturing of Scotland as inferior, a mess and in permanent crisis needs to be called out.

This is just insulting nonsense. Should Scotland slow down in areas while England and Wales catch up? How can devolved nations ‘keep up’ if England has a controlling veto over all decisions and funds major projects in England while cancelling those elsewhere?
Four nations must ‘move at same pace together’, Burnham says on devolution itv.com/news/2026-10-30/four…

Labour's plan to remove tariffs from 100 food items could save households up to 40p a week. In January Michael Marra ridiculed the SNP's tax change because it only gave people an extra 70p a week. He said: 'You couldn’t buy a Mars bar for that". archive.is/2llN1

When Labour came to power, the price cap was £1,414 and they promised to cut bills by £300. Now, new EDF forecasts show the price cap hitting £2,389 in April – £1,275 higher than promised. Only with independence, can we cut bills and build a better fairer future for Scotland.

🚨🇬🇧 Turning Point UK's CEO was filmed offering an undercover reporter a menu of beatings, stabbings and killings through a Glasgow contact who says he arms the UVF Al Jazeera’s undercover operation started in 2021 when a reporter joined the British offshoot of the American student group. Its CEO Jack Ross, a Conservative candidate in 2023, introduced the reporter to Allan Nesbitt, a convicted criminal and self-described UVF member, agreed on camera to pay him to stage a fake pro-Zimbabwe rally, and priced out what Nesbitt’s friends could do to a person, from cutting faces to MURDER. The UVF is the Ulster Volunteer Force, a Protestant loyalist paramilitary from Northern Ireland’s Troubles that killed over 500 people between 1966 and 1999, including 33 in one day in the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, and is still banned as a terror group. Since the peace deal it has run mostly as a drug gang that kept the name and the guns. Nesbitt reportedly met the reporter in a London hotel, offered to have a fictional business rival “finished,” claimed he’d personally stabbed a man to death, showed a shotgun and pistol on a video call and said the fee would buy weapons smuggled from Scotland into Northern Ireland. Ross says it was a joke. The joke came with a price list, a weapons demo and a smuggling route, and the police now have a name and a video... and wasn't particularly funny. Somebody in Turning Point UK’s donor base should be asking when the fundraising dinners turned into this. Source: Al Jazeera / Writer: Daniel
