Recently completed tree carvings in Clifton Park; the result of collaboration between the sculptor, young people and Clifton Park Museum. Ward councillors in Boston Castle and Rotherham East were happy to support them. We think they look great @RotherhamWards @LabourRotherham
Tonight our Youth Group have been reflecting on what we’ve learnt and achieved over the last 2 years, thinking about what’s next and ideas 💡 for future exhibitions #heritage @HeritageFundNOR
In connection to @RMBCPress fantastic post about the new addition to Clifton Park! Here is a little snippet of our Interview with the local sculptor Jason Thomson and how he created the new tree sculpture in Clifton Park.
Watch the full video here : m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlYb67…
Funded also by local councillors Cooksey/McNeely/Alam, councillor Tajamal Khan and former councillor Debroah Fenwick-Green 😊

@JasonThomsonArt’s masterpiece is complete! We’re delighted to have this sculpture here in Clifton Park for everyone to see and admire. Working alongside Jason and seeing his vision come to life has been a real treat and a proud nod to our heritage. Come see!

Love this. My son Joe sat with Nick from Pulp and Laurie from Hey Sholay chatting about getting into a band. As part of Rotherham focusing on local musicians. Not Southsea related but on a music level a great watch!
What do you get when you put 3 musicians together in 1 room? A great Q&A, that’s what 😉
We spoke with Nick Banks of Pulp, Laurie Allport of Hey Scholay, and Joe O’Brien of The Reytons about Rotherham and their lives as musicians! Join us TONIGHT at 6:30!
