Very interesting perspective. It’s not about left versus right. It’s about people and unaccountable government. “The greatest political illusion is convincing people they’re in control while ensuring their choices never threaten those holding power. Give the sheep just enough hope. Just enough change. Just enough outrage at the other team. Keep them divided, distracted, and fighting each other instead of questioning who’s directing the herd.”
Do you see the bigger picture of what just happened in British Columbia? If you think the few months were simply political infighting, you’re missing something much bigger. We had a democratically elected Conservative leader. A real conservative. Kerry-Lynne Findlay had grassroots support, a clear vision, and something rare in Canadian politics: the backbone to follow through. But there was a problem. She wasn’t aligned with the federal Liberals or the globalist agenda I believe is driving this country. She proposed a Western coalition to challenge federal overreach, fight the gun grab, defend freedom of religion and expression, enshrine property rights, and protect digital free speech. She wasn’t promising to fight back. She was preparing to do it. That threatened more than a few political careers. A provincial government willing to challenge Ottawa? A leader who couldn’t be controlled by the usual power brokers? That was a problem. Then came the operatives, lobbyists, and party insiders. The backroom scheming, attempts to undermine her leadership, and ultimately blackmail. I watched it unfold. And eventually, they got what they wanted. Goodbye KLF. Goodbye grassroots democracy. Party bosses installed their own leader without a membership vote, then moved to rewrite the constitution so he wouldn’t face a leadership race. The members elected a leader. Insiders replaced her and moved to change the rules to keep their man in power. No vote. No accountability. No voice for members. All TWO DAYS before an election writ dropped. Just another coincidence? Now zoom out. This is bigger than BC. Canada is being pushed toward centralized power, diminished freedoms, and increasingly powerless citizens. Call it globalism. Call it the political ruling class. Call it whatever you want. Look what’s happening. Mass immigration is transforming Canada, while election laws don’t require voters to produce documentary proof of citizenship. You can declare yourself a citizen without producing citizenship documents at the ballot box. In BC, you can vote without presenting your own ID if another voter vouches for you. Citizenship determines who shapes this country’s future. Why aren’t we demanding stronger verification? Non-citizens cannot legally vote. But a prohibition and the safeguards enforcing it are different things. Now ask yourself. If powerful political interests are shaping this country’s direction, how do you keep the population from revolting? Give them the illusion of choice. Change the jerseys. Change the faces. Give people a few victories. No more free drugs. A marginal tax adjustment. A handful of promises. The sheep celebrate. The sheep go back to sleep. Different shepherd. Same direction. Globalists advance their agenda. Government promises to reverse it, but doesn’t. Elections come and go, but the same insiders, lobbyists, and powerful interests remain. Canadians keep fighting over which jersey deserves their loyalty. The greatest political illusion is convincing people they’re in control while ensuring their choices never threaten those holding power. Give the sheep just enough hope. Just enough change. Just enough outrage at the other team. Keep them divided, distracted, and fighting each other instead of questioning who’s directing the herd. How many broken promises? Political betrayals? Conservative governments that conserve absolutely nothing? How much worse does Canada need to get before people wake up? Real change doesn’t come from changing jerseys. It comes from changing who holds power. The power brokers won this round in BC. But here’s what they should fear. The day the sheep realize they’re being herded is the day the shepherds lose control. Stop worshipping parties. Stop celebrating crumbs. Stop mistaking a change of jerseys for a change of direction. The illusion only works as long as we believe it. Wake up, Canada.

KIM HENDERSON Backgrounder -- Why her background fits a transition team: From a machinery-of-government standpoint, the appointment is relatively straightforward to understand. A new government suddenly needs to deal with Cabinet formation, mandate development, briefing books, deputy ministers, Treasury Board, expenditure authorities, Crown corporations, legislation, regulatory priorities and the handoff from one administration to another. Henderson has previously worked near the centre of virtually all of those systems.
Since you asked, Kris, here is a little more detail. This post is referring to **Kim Henderson**, a long-serving senior British Columbia public servant who reached essentially the highest non-elected administrative position in the provincial government. Henderson is not primarily a political operative. Her career has been concentrated in the professional public service, government administration, Treasury Board, fiscal management and strategic policy. That distinction matters when assessing why Lorne Doerkson selected her to chair the transition team. Who Kim Henderson is: Henderson joined the BC Public Service in 1996** and subsequently held a succession of increasingly senior positions. By March 2016, Premier Christy Clark appointed her **Deputy Minister to the Premier, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the BC Public Service. BC Gov News news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016… That combination of positions placed her at the administrative centre of government. As Deputy Minister to the Premier, she was the premier's most senior public-service adviser. As Cabinet Secretary, she was involved in the machinery through which Cabinet decisions are developed, documented and implemented. As Head of the Public Service, she sat above the deputy-minister structure across government. The Conservative Party announcement says she was responsible for oversight of government policy and operations and served as the government's chief policy and strategy adviser to Cabinet. Conservative Party of British Columbia conservativebc.ca/premier-el… Her qualifications and government experience Her résumé is unusually relevant to a government transition because she has worked across several of the systems an incoming premier immediately has to understand: - Deputy Minister to the Premier, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the BC Public Service, until 2017. Conservative Party of British Columbia conservativebc.ca/premier-el… - Deputy Minister of Finance and Secretary to Treasury Board, giving her direct experience with provincial budgeting, expenditure control and the machinery surrounding Treasury Board decisions. Public Policy Forum ppforum.ca/person/kim-hender… - Deputy Minister of Corporate Initiatives in the Office of the Premier**, where she led cross-government initiatives and was the public-service lead for the government's Core Review. BC Gov News news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016… - Deputy Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Citizens' Services and Open Government. In the latter role, she led development of BC's open-government strategy. BC Gov News news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016… - Earlier in her career she was an Assistant Deputy Minister of Transition Services, appearing in that capacity in the Legislature as early as 2004. LIMS lims.leg.bc.ca/hdms/file/Deb… Her portfolio experience reportedly encompasses strategic policy, legislation and regulation, human resources, information technology, government real estate and organizational review. Conservative Party of British Columbia conservativebc.ca/premier-el… Fiscal and government-review experience: This is probably one of the more important pieces of her background given what Doerkson has been saying about reviewing government finances. Henderson led BC's Core Review of government services, an exercise intended to examine duplication, administrative efficiency, regulation, program delivery and government structure. Contemporary BC government documentation identifies her directly as the deputy minister responsible for that work. BC Gov News news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2013… Then, in 2019, Alberta appointed her to the MacKinnon Panel, formally the Blue Ribbon Panel on Alberta's Finances. The panel reviewed government spending, budgeting practices, fiscal sustainability and Alberta's economic position. The Alberta government identifies Henderson as one of the panel members specifically because of her BC finance and senior-government experience. Alberta.ca alberta.ca/mackinnon-report-… So she has actually participated in the type of fiscal and organizational review that an incoming government frequently undertakes. Private-sector and economic-policy work: After leaving the BC Public Service, Henderson became a principal with Sproat Advising, advising businesses on government strategy, economic and climate policy and procurement. The Public Policy Forum describes her as having almost 20 years of senior public-sector experience. Public Policy Forum ppforum.ca/person/kim-hender… Her consulting work has included major-project development and sectors such as: - oil and gas - mining - forestry - Indigenous negotiations - economic and climate policy - government procurement. Conservative Party of British Columbia conservativebc.ca/premier-el… She also became a Fellow with the Public Policy Forum and participated in reports dealing with Canadian exports, competitiveness and economic policy. Public Policy Forum ppforum.ca/publications/clim… Trans Mountain: More recently, Henderson has been associated with Trans Mountain Corporation. The Conservative announcement says she began advising Trans Mountain in 2022 and became an interim vice-president in October 2025. She is taking an unpaid leave from Trans Mountain effective October 25, 2026 while chairing Doerkson's transition team, and the transition position itself is unpaid. Conservative Party of British Columbia conservativebc.ca/premier-el… That experience potentially gives her another perspective that is relevant to the incoming government's stated interest in major infrastructure, resource development, pipelines and interprovincial projects. Education and professional recognition: Henderson holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria, awarded in 2002. UVic subsequently gave her its Distinguished Alumni Award in 2015. UVic.ca uvic.ca/alumni/awards/past-r… She was also named to the Women's Executive Network Top 100 in 2012 in recognition of her public-sector leadership. Public Policy Forum ppforum.ca/person/kim-hender… An important distinction about Christy Clark: The wording in the post you showed me slightly understates her position when it calls her merely a "former deputy minister to premier Christy Clark." She wasn't simply **a deputy minister working under Clark**. She ultimately became: Deputy Minister to the Premier + Cabinet Secretary + Head of the entire BC Public Service. That is one of the most senior positions an unelected official can occupy in the provincial government. BC Gov News news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2016… And her BC public-service career predates Clark substantially. Henderson entered the public service in 1996 and served during both the Gordon Campbell and Christy Clark governments. Canadian Press describes her as having spent more than a decade serving those BC Liberal administrations. National Newswatch nationalnewswatch.com/2026/1… Why her background fits a transition team: From a machinery-of-government standpoint, the appointment is relatively straightforward to understand. There is another aspect worth watching, however. Her recent Trans Mountain work, resource-sector consulting, Indigenous-negotiation experience and previous participation in fiscal reviews could provide clues about the policy architecture Doerkson intends to establish. That does not prove what policies will follow, but it gives us some useful areas to monitor as the transition team is assembled.

Good Morning Women of British Columbia! Welcome to the resistance. Your job is to protect the children. Trust your instinct. Gently welcome others to form new opinions. We Keep Going!
Dallas Brodie made it possible for the BC Conservatives to win. She took all the bullets by speaking out against the Reconciliation Industrial Complex and calling out the mass graves hoax in Kamloops. The BC Cons adopted OneBC policies and owe their win to people who were more brave than them to speak out. It remains to be seen how long they will act conservative. Will young Carson Binda stand up in the BC Legislature to say the hard things that Dallas said? We’ll see. Don’t be surprised if they disappoint, though. Dallas kept the pressure on them and will continue to keep pressure on for them to actually act like conservatives do. I remain skeptical considering they have not confronted Pavneet Singh and his sexual crimes while willing to kick Dallas out over a tweet. Will they repeal DRIPA? Will they root SOGI out of schools? Who will have the spine to stand up to the entitled chiefs who just want to extort BC taxpayers and throw temper tantrums if they don’t get their way? Will weak-willed men stand up? You better hope so, BC. You better hope so. I am so honoured to have stood beside Dallas and contribute my efforts to OneBC. My principles remain intact. 😎🥳 @Dallas_Brodie @One_BCHQ

True leadership. Break the code of silence. The NDP have taken the back seat, but the damage control will take years. The institutions, Union Executives, Media will continue to push their Agenda. Leaders lead because they are not followers. Transformation only takes +10 to reach critical mass.
Brodie & the OneBC team were critical in combatting the infowar. Without her we would not even be talking about treaties, property rights and land acknowledgments. Breaking the code of silence allow others to speak. Thank you @Dallas_Brodie @One_BCHQ

The Union executives must be removed. They are the source of the Wokemindvirus.
Following their historic landslide victory, the BC Conservatives have secured a majority government. Yet beyond the legislature, the NDP continue to control nearly every public body, from ICBC to BC Ferries, filling key positions with their own appointees. Without holding government, the NDP still command the state apparatus. They have never been the province's 'natural governing party', but if allowed to maintain their institutional footprint, they will come to be seen as the norm rather than the exception. If the @Conservative_BC intend to undo the last decade, they must purge these partisans, shrink the government payroll, and reform the public sector. Policy is essential, but political power is decisive, and without broader institutional control, the new government will be left managing a hostile bureaucracy. My latest for @WDiminishment - Link Below.

Attention, Canadians: it is time to see things for what they are and where we are headed, which will be a dystopian nightmare from which there will be no return. That IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION; it is a fact, and every Western leader, all but one, which is President Trump, is following the Cloward-Piven strategy to topple the West. Wake the actual fuck up, people!!! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
🚨The Cloward-Piven strategy of overwhelming the system is in full swing 🪦🇨🇦☠️. Chaos driven by communists, socialists, globalists—Mark Carney, anarchists, and Islamists working together has already engulfed Canada and Europe.

Carney’s “prudent banker” brand is dead. The PBO just showed the books are being cooked Debt-service costs are now the fastest-growing federal expense: $25B five years ago → $59B this year (already larger than the Canada Health Transfer) → $83B in five years. Pure interest, paid before anything else PBO Annette Ryan: the government’s fiscal “anchors” are “more like traffic lights.” Capital spending gets a green light; operating spending is a yellow at best. “Limited fiscal discipline. It’s not stopping spending.” Real cash borrowing over five years: $733B. New debt from deficits: only $333B. The ~$400B gap is being parked with Crown corporations, loans and special funds—“a step removed from parliamentary oversight.” New risks, she said, and less transparency The former Bank of Canada/Bank of England governor who once policed balance sheets is now redefining accounting so the headline targets stay pretty while the actual liability grows off-books. Taxpayers get stuck with the interest bill @PBO_DPB

CBC quoted Lowan’s speech right up to the line that reveals the ideology—and then stopped In their election-night write-up, CBC reported: “We may have a small caucus, but tonight we have inherited an enormous responsibility, and that is to hold a majority Conservative government to account.” What she said next, according to the full transcript (and the video CBC itself posted):“We are the only party who is equipped to stand against the Conservatives and their existence.” That is not “holding a government to account.” That is declaring the victorious party’s existence illegitimate. It is the language of elimination, not opposition If a BC Conservative candidate had said the NDP or Greens needed to be opposed “and their existence,” it would have led every newscast, every panel, and every CBC segment for days. Instead, the line was edited out of the written coverage while the surrounding sentences were used to portray her as a responsible voice of accountability This is not an oversight. CBC has the full speech on their website. They chose which sentences to quote and which to bury. Meanwhile, hosts and panels continue to treat the BC Conservatives as uniquely dangerous while soft-pedaling a 26-year-old party leader who just framed an entire party’s existence as the problem to be solved Age is not a shield. “Movement building” is not a euphemism that erases the actual words. Selective quotation that stops one sentence before the most revealing line is not journalism—it is CBC narrative management The video is on CBC’s own site. The transcript is public. The CBC omission is the story @brodiefenlon

This is fucked up. For all practical purposes, there is no COVID in Alberta at this moment. But mark my words, if AHS promotes an aggressive vaccine campaign, we will see a rise in cases. That's what has happened after every campaign in the past. Cases lag vaccines. alberta.ca/stats/dashboard/r… 1/

Our State Media are overrun by men who like to dress in drag. I can now spot them a mile away.
CBC platformed Camosun political science instructor Daniel Reeve to analyze Premier-designate Lorne Doerkson and somehow forgot to mention the tiny detail that Reeve himself ran as an NDP candidate (and worked as a ministerial aide to NDP Health Minister Corky Evans) Here’s the “neutral expert” take they ran: “I thought one of the things that jumped out to me is that they are going to go that one of the first things that the premier elect suggested is a financial basically walking through of the budget. And I think that from that analysis, they're going to say, oh, my God, it's worse than we thought. And now we're going to have to impose a whole bunch of cuts so that we don't raise taxes and so that we don't cut health care. And that. That's going to be the financial message that's going to hopefully, from his perspective, hold that center right to kind of far right coalition together and also kind of pin the problems of his government on the past.” Just another dispassionate academic, right? The same lifelong NDP activist who spent years organizing campaigns and working inside an NDP government is now on the public broadcaster framing the new Conservative government as a cynical cut-and-blame operation aimed at “center-right to far-right” voters. Disclosure optional, apparently CBC’s mountain of omissions continues @CBCOmbud @BrodieFenlon

BC CONSERVATIVES: YOU HAVE THE MANDATE. NOW DELIVER. The election is over. The real work starts NOW. This isn't about blaming the NDP for everything. Restrictive land policies and bureaucratic barriers have existed under previous governments, too. The question is whether the new Conservatives will finally change the direction of this province, or simply inherit the same system and keep it running. WE DIDN'T VOTE FOR A NEW NAME ON THE DOOR. WE VOTED FOR CHANGE. HERE'S WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN: 1. REPEAL DRIPA. FULLY. BEFORE CHRISTMAS. You've promised it. Deliver it. Repeal DRIPA, repeal section 8.1 of the Interpretation Act, reverse the previous government's litigation directions and deliver the promised changes to the legal framework. No delays. No watered-down substitutes. Get it done before the holidays. 2. REMOVE SOGI FROM BC'S SCHOOL RESOURCES. You've promised repeal. Follow through. End the SOGI resource framework in schools and focus on education, student safety, literacy, mathematics and transparent parental involvement. 3. OPEN UP CROWN LAND OWNERSHIP. BC has tens of millions of hectares of public land. Suitable land should not be locked away indefinitely when it could support families, farms, ranches, housing and new communities. Make genuinely surplus, suitable Crown land available for affordable purchase by eligible Canadians. Protect ecologically and archaeologically sensitive areas, historical sites, essential wildlife corridors and active productive operations. Require responsible land management, including wildlife passage where fencing is used. Then let people build. New farms. New ranches. New villages. Expanding communities. Affordable rural homes. Publish the rules. Set firm timelines. Give written reasons for refusals. Stop leaving applicants in the dark. If a Canadian wants to responsibly develop suitable land, there should be a clear, fair path to ownership, not an endless bureaucratic fight. 4. STOP MAKING MAJOR LAND DEALS WITHOUT PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY. Publish the maps, terms, obligations and consequences of major land, title, resource and infrastructure agreements. That includes the Haida agreement and any proposed corridor or large-scale land arrangement that could materially affect communities, property, resources or public access. Pause new commitments pending transparent examination. Pursue every legally available option for meaningful public consultation and a referendum. People who live in affected communities deserve a genuine voice. Don't ask the public to blindly accept arrangements. 5. FULL GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY. FROM DAY ONE. One searchable public website for MLA expenses, receipts, government contracts, spending and major agreements. Let taxpayers see where their money goes. 6. MAKE BC AFFORDABLE AND PRODUCTIVE. Reduce unnecessary bureaucracy, red tape and taxes. Expand housing opportunities. Encourage responsible resource development, investment and rural economic growth. Sell surplus public assets where appropriate and put them to productive use. 7. BE CONSERVATIVES IN PRACTICE. This is the test. You have a mandate. You have the opportunity. Now demonstrate that conservative principles mean something in the decisions you make. Property rights, economic freedom, responsible government, transparency, accountability. No more endless reviews with no results. No more promises without deadlines. HERE'S OUR JOB AS CITIZENS: Contact your MLA as soon as portfolios are assigned. Email the Premier and responsible ministers. Contact the Conservative Party. Print your letters and mail them. Get your friends and family involved. Demand written answers, deadlines and measurable results. REPEAL DRIPA BEFORE CHRISTMAS. REMOVE SOGI. OPEN UP SUITABLE CROWN LAND. PUT THE PEOPLE BACK AT THE CENTRE OF GOVERNMENT. We gave them the mandate. Now let's make sure they deliver. #BCPoli #PropertyRights #Transparency #Affordability @LDoerkson @Conservative_BC
