We're adding side quests to Your Painting, Sir! The butler has a smartphone which he can use to call phone numbers he finds in the newspaper. Help a detective solve mysteries by finding the criminal who just so happens to be pictured in the newspaper.

A tutorial at your own pace. At first I explained in dialog, copying what many games already do, but this felt very disruptive to the player experience. I solved it by using sticky notes with short explanations. The player has the option to click a note if they want more info.

We're making a puzzle game about forging paintings using newspaper cutouts. Fool your legally blind boss or lose your job!

Our game is at risk of never being released because I'm too distracted making funny collage art

Added an accessibility mode to create cutouts by clicking instead of holding. Two valid ways to play our game :)

I renamed the option I showed off to something else, and changed "Clicking" to what you described (thanks @3Daebae for clarifying).

I should clarify that you can actually still drag the mouse in the second mode. It's basically the first mode + an automated line tool and the ability to undo steps.
