He made sure Ronaldo didnโt come back on for the second half because he knew his team was literally playing with 9 men. Ronaldo was offering absolutely nothing in attack.
After the half-time substitution, 10 man Al Nassr finally started playing as a team and completed an incredible comeback to win 3-2.
Big respect to their coach for making such a bold decision. ๐๐

HT Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea
Chelsea opened the scoring through a Rogers penalty. Gakpo levelled before the break for the reds from the spot as well. Overall Liverpool have looked more threatening with 7 attempts compared to Chelsea's 2 attempts. Bad to see Lacroix pick up an injury... could that prove decisive in the second half??
I hope Liverpool can take advantage of that and apply more pressure on that backline that looks fragile at the moment.
