Generative AI genuinely feels like Iโ€™m being handed a deliberately cheaper, inferior designed version of something and then being asked why I donโ€™t like it and want something else.

"clichรฉs are boring" me when character A gets hurt and doesn't know where to go so they end up at character B's doorstep. bonus points if they're enemies.

Aha bringing light to people who fell into nothingness, yet not giving happiness in a golden plate, but actually a purpose โ€” something we can actually go after is so dear to me. Instant happiness is something that passes, but when you have a purpose, life has a true meaning

Can you imagine how funny this mustโ€™ve been for the casting department or developers โ€œWow this actress sounds JUST like Navi, sheโ€™s definitely got the part, letโ€™s meet her!โ€ *they meet her* โ€œOhhhhhhhhhhhhโ€

Aonuma reveals the Japanese voice cast were picked blindly to match the original sounds of the characters. Kaori Mizuhashi, the original Japanese voice actor for Navi in the Nintendo 64 version, was one of them. She reprises her role in the remake.

Like people who stand in their homes and feel like the walls are closing in on them and are suffocated and stressed all the time and Marieโ€™s like do you need the 86 funko pops you bought during the trend height and you havenโ€™t thought about them 9 yrs? That could free up space ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

The Marie Kondo takes is where I started realizing we donโ€™t actually process or understand the things we read, because she said if it sparks joy and has real meaning to you keep it but if youโ€™re just hoarding things with no emotional value to youโ€ฆmaybe declutter your space a bit

marie kondo doesn't work on you if you're a little freak that buys really niche shit, has strong preferences bordering on the neurotic, spend YEARS hunting down specific items, and think you can refurbish or repair anything. unfortunately all these traits also make me unbearable
