A huge effort was made to #spay & #neuter dogs in the shelter project & local community massively reducing the unwanted puppy population
The clinic we all funded sterilised so many community dogs who were able to stay at the shelter after their surgeries
To be told that a municipality is thinking about culling in another area is as frustrating as it is heartbreaking
We stand firm with our friends in Turkiye and are waiting on letters to officials in the area to be translated
We will NEVER accept culling as a solution to reducing the population
Not only is it viciously cruel it is a waste of time as other dogs move in to the spaces made empty

1yo RICKY, he of the wonderful smile, is the sweetest boy who only knows how to share kisses, play, & give & receive massive hugs. With an ever wagging tail, this lad gets on well with people & other dogs, a real family lad. Ricky was left without an owner, & thrown out on the busiest dangerous street, looking for a human heart to take him home. He's still looking but someone somewhere will recognise unconditional love when they see it. Ricky is in Macedonia & can travel asap. facebook.com/media/set/?set=… #TeamZay #AdoptDontShop

Look at that happy face! Such a good boy. Chestnut is a 1 1/2 yr old, 50lb pittie mix and what a sweet boy he is! Chestnut is the perfect combination of playful and snuggly. He loves everyone he meets and will gladly trade you kisses for some ear scratching and a good belly

Richmond, Virginia: a brown and white female dog was found tied in a garbage bag in 90 90 degree heat on the Buttermilk Trail by the James today. She had tried hard to free herself, but died soon after rescue.
Find the monsters who tortured and killed her.
