It's helping me develop a game I always wanted to see made. So after a quarter century, of them no touching an abandoned IP, I'm making the game I always wanted a sequel to. It went from a yellow square, to a flat biome map, to a 3d biome map, but I built it wrong, and the tiles were sideways, to what I have now. Loading custom obj files, making meshs from them, colliding with them. And I'm working on implementing different camera type volumes to be used by "camera volumes". Which change what the camera does if the player is inside them. Instead of hard coding each volumes camera values. As I'll need special camera that follow the player up of down. I also have map loading and transition volumes. So it's coming along nicely. What's that saying? Make it work, you can make it look good later?

The current state of my editor, Edge selecting and editing, as well as terrain sculpting. I can also select and delete faces, Which will be useful later when I make an edge bridge system, that will join two edges of a terrain gap and add faces, I'm currently getting an extruded edge function, so I can effectively make walls. Even though You can sculpt terrain, I'm mainly making the map editor for interior cells, so having the ability to make walls, will be far more useful than general sculpting. But it will also be used for town maps too. Transitioning from map to map, relies on a registry system, where I create a map in the editor, it saves to a list, and then the transition volumes call the corresponding map files to look at the spawn point, and I can link specific volumes to specific spawn points, so there isn't just one general spawn placement when entering a map. And different camera systems, the ones I showed, are the fixed, which I can set the size, and point the camera of how I need it, with the help of the preview, and it works that way during the runtime. As for future systems, I'm looking at making a particle/emitter system, with basic flame, shocking, and water/mist emitters. And as for the World Map, with the size, I might be looking at the triangle count for it be in the 150,000 or so range, that might not be a lot for modern standards, but for what I'm planning on making, that is a bit high, so I'm looking at optimization options like chunk loading around the player, so the map will need to be cut up into smaller squares, and with it being chunk loaded, I would in theory be able to make it "repeating" by allowing the player to travel from end to end. So long story short, I'm undertaking a massive project. Once I flesh out the editor a little more, that's when I'll start working on game systems like battles, and encounters. And animations too, that'll probably come first after editor work.

遅れて投稿しちゃってるかもしれないけどwww、この1年くらい、クラフターとして少しずつ成長して、学んできました。 1年前に何百個も作って出品し始めたミスライトインゴットだって、本来なら誰かが買ってくれたかもしれない。でも、Capuuさんが一度に全部買ってくれた日があって、それで「この人に会わなきゃ！」って思ったんです。 Capuuさんのおかげで、素材やギアを買う資金ができて、ちゃんと物を作れる知識と経験を積むことができました。 最初は高難易度のレシピなんて絶対無理だと思ってたけど、スキル同士の相乗効果を理解したら、今ではエキスパートレシピも割と楽に作れるようになりました。 本当に、誰か他の人でもよかったかもしれないけど、Capuuさんでよかったなって、心から思います。ミスライト納品のときに一度、宝探しパーティーに入ってた彼に、ヤーン実装直後で使えなかったマップをプレゼントしたら、お返しにヤーンマウントをくれたんです！ それ以来、ヤーンから降りてません。そしてクリスマスにはミニヤーンのミニオンまで！ 時々、自分がこんなに優しくしてもらえるなんて何したんだろうって思うけど、すぐに「クラフトしなきゃ」って思い出すんですよね。 Capuuさんから得た資金のおかげで、白銀郷のコバイ御殿アパート（Anima, 2-51）にちょっとしたショップを作れました。いつでも開いてるので、寄ってくれたら嬉しいです。 いつかもっと上手くなって、小さな家を買って本格的なショップを開きたいなって思ってます。まだまだ学ぶことがたくさんあります。 友達はあまり多くなくて、外出もあまりしないし、人と話すのも得意じゃないんです。でも、ゲーム内でクラフトするのが大好きで、ここでこんな短期間でここまでこれたのが本当にすごいなって。レイドやトライアルは上手くないけど、クラフターとして、強いプレイヤーをさらに強くするギアを作れるのが楽しいんです。それができなかったら、多分すごく落ち込んでると思います。 会話は短くて、大抵は大量のミスライトインゴットのやり取りばっかりだけど、もしCapuuさんがこれを見たら、本当に本当にありがとう！！ #かぷぅ日報
