Galveston animal control counted 21 raccoons on the rocks at the east end of the Seawall. Seven people reported bites in two weeks and were sent for rabies shots. The supervisor said they’re “living the life on Cheetos,” after a trash bag of fast-food wrappers came off that stretch. Signs are up. People are still feeding them. The city says it is not relocating or killing the colony.
