If you can’t go just say you can’t go. Let your friend do what she wants for her bday and have fun. Don’t complain about some else’s fun time on the internet. If it’s not your cup of tea just don’t go.
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long.
Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

So it’s each son in birth order, however, if that son has a son before he dies, his son takes on his inheritance. Same for the girls. If all sons have died and there are no grandsons of those sons, it goes to the eldest daughter’s eldest son.

This ad is how I learned that apparently this woman’s husband sexually abused Amy Acton as a child, and she chose him over her own daughter — even after he was arrested. So, yeah. It’s a brutal ad for sure, but maybe not in the way Derek is suggesting.

This is absolutely disgusting and the act of a desperate campaign. This woman lost custody of her kids because her husband abused Amy. How anyone can look at that and say, "let's put her on air," is beyond me.
Every consultant and operative who worked on or paid for this should be permanently out of politics.
