The A458 Harley Bank is now OPEN.
It was closed this morning due to fallen trees and stuck vehicles.

▶️ A489 near Churchstoke. Closed due an abandaoned vehcile.
We're working to reopen these roads as soon as possible.

⚠️ A yellow weather warning for fog is in place for parts of the UK between midnight and 10am tomorrow (Weds), inc. some areas of Shropshire.

⚠️ Frankwell Main and Riverside car parks in Shrewsbury are CLOSED today (Thurs) and until further notice due to rising river levels.
If you’re visiting Shrewsbury town centre please walk, cycle, take a bus, or use park and ride as there will be limited town centre parking.
⚠️ The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for the River Severn at the Showground and The Quarry, Shrewsbury.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. with flooding forecast from 9pm.
⚠️ Shrewsbury flooding update (Weds 10 Dec, 3pm)
▶️ Due to rising river levels there'll be no overnight parking in Frankwell car park tonight.
▶️ Severn Trent are deploying their pump at the Coleham gyratory and traffic management measures are in place.
❗ A flood warning is in force for the River Vyrnwy at Maesbrook and at Melverley (including Melverley Green).
This mean flooding is expected today (Tues), due to high river levels.
❗ Frankwell car park in Shrewsbury will be OPEN today (Weds 3 Dec).
Latest information from the Environment Agency shows that river levels won't now rise as much as initially forecast. Therefore Frankwell car park will be OPEN today.
❗ Due to rising river levels Frankwell car park in Shrewsbury will be CLOSED from approx. 8pm tonight (Tuesday). If you're parked there please move your vehicle by 8pm.
🚌 If you’re visiting Shrewsbury town centre on Weds please walk, cycle, take a bus, or use park and ride.
⚠️ If you're out and about across the county please DO NOT drive into floodwater – it's a risk to life for drivers.
❗ And if you see a 'road closed' sign please don't drive around it... the signs are there for public safety.

❗ St Julian's Friars car park, Shrewsbury is CLOSED until further notice. Resident permit holders may move vehicles to Abbey Foregate car park.
❗ Frankwell car park is also CLOSED. All cars left there overnight need to be moved immediately as the exit will be closed.
