One thing we've consistently observed in public primary schools we work with in rural areas is that many children begin school speaking their mother tongue. As they progress, they're expected to learn, think, and express themselves in English, the language of instruction.

Every reading ambassador has a highlight from the National Read Aloud. Caroline Nduta, a reading ambassador who read with the learners at Naboisho Comprehensive School in Narok County was kind enough to share hers.

Kakamega county✅ St Peter's Mumias did an amazing job reading aloud! When you want to hide something from an African, do not put it in a book anymore because we will definitely find it! #nationalreadaloud2026 #worldrecordedition #1millionreaders #trending #explore

These are amazing sights.
See we told you reading is cool , and there is you that won't lift a book. Anyway, Ihwa Comprehensive learners are wondering how you can build a nation if you won't read. #nationalreadaloud2026 #worldrecordedition #1millionreaders #kenyareads

"Bundle of joy" is the scam. Most people have kids as a retirement plan, then call it love. Next thing you know, you’re born into a vortex of obligation, stuck funding someone’s failed dreams, while they tell you you’re the blessing. 😅😅😅
What's your take on Black-tax? Do you think it's the reason most people have children?

Actually if you sell them a more affordable monthly option billed annually, they will come for 1-3 months. Come sporadically for 2 months. And stop coming yet they already paid. Any given month you’ll have 90 paid memberships with 30 active gymers

Are you seeking re-colonization boss?
I respect the United Kingdom for many reasons. You'll never hear me saying anything bad about that country. I got the best officers training at Sandhurst 25 years ago. The late Queen, was my first Commander-in-Chief. I got a degree there in political science 27 years ago. I will always seek closer relations with the UK.

In the end, we learned what the poets never dared to write, that the cruelest fate is not to lose love, but to carry its ghost, forever aching, in a world where it can never exist. ❣💔

I slowly find warmth in the cold, darkness becoming my home, Then my heart pumped red-blue blood, all because I opened my eyes and saw in the dark. 🖤🖤

After all the darkness was always slowly brewing within my soul never leaving me like everyone else had So, it was simply time to let encompass me. And I let it. ❣❣
