Yesterday at 4:00PM ET the Sia network surpassed 1.00 PB of used storage. Thanks to the hard work and dedication from everyone on the @siafoundation and @SkynetLabs teams, as well as our other partners! Here's to a great future and towards our next goal: 100 PB!
1/ The @siafoundation Sia network has been under a DDoS attack for the last 48 hours. The biggest target are the hosts, storage providers of the network: a ~30% suffer a blackout. These maps compare outages on a normal day and during the attack (thread)

1/ The @SiaTechHQ #siacoin hardfork of yesterday was completed successfully and the SiaStats Fork Monitor (siastats.info/fork) confirms it went smoothly and no dangerous scenarios as blockchain reorgs or wipeouts happened. A thread describing details for those curious:
8/ Everything happened very fast and it was funny chatting with the Sia devs and community on Discord - As soon as you finished writing about something, it was already old news as the next block was already there :-)
9/ As a result of the fork, the @siafoundation has been stablished and now has a budget to improve the Sia development, marketing initiatives and providing grants to the ecosystem. Congratulations to the Foundation, developers and community for the success of the fork! 🎉
