This website is now designed to either make you hopeless or a bigot - yet unfortunately it remains a useful place for a content creator to be.
I will resume my interactions here under the following conditions:
Every snapshot Mojang gets closer to implementing data-driven blocks and items, but in the interim we get some wacky internal code (e.g. rather than having sounds on hand, blocks redo a search of the sound type registry for a sound every single time they're stepped on/broken/etc)
When you breed sheep in Minecraft the game internally takes the dye items associated with the sheep color and crafts them together to figure out what color the baby should be

Anthropic dropped Fable 5.1 this week, so someone figured to throw something genuinely annoying at it.
He wanted a gun in Minecraft that fires Kirin, the lightning dragon Sasuke uses in Naruto. Instead of trying to describe it, he just gave Fable two YouTube links. One was the actual anime scene. The other was a short of an existing railgun mod told it to combine the two.
It didn't ask to explain anything. It went through both videos frame by frame and started building.
What it actually did on its own:
Wrote the whole mod for Fabric 1.21.1
Modeled the lightning dragon in Blender through the Blender MCP bridge
Made the gun model and textures
Launched the game itself so I could test it
The first attempt was already shockingly close. Dragon rendered, gun fired, it looked like the scene. A few things were off, so recorded himself using it and sent the clip back. From that one video it fixed the dragon flying upside down, scaled it 2x, and added debris, a proper crater, and fire on impact.
That was basically it. Two prompts total, the initial ask and one round of fixes.
Stats for the whole run:
~383.6k output tokens
$20.54 in API cost
~1 hour start to finish
