To address a few questions: From what I understand, the Zuckermans are out, with Kevin Williamson set to co-write #Scream8. I genuinely don’t know who’s directing, but I’m told it’s not the Soskas. Nothing against anyone involved. Just sharing what I know, nothing more.

SCREAM 8 rumors have been floating online recently, including the listing of SCREAM 8 as an “active production” on Production Weekly. None of this has come from the studio, an official announcement or a news publication. I also would caution against taking Production Weekly’s listings as a confirmation of any facts. In the lead up to SCREAM 7 in 2024, there were so many ups and downs and changes listed in Production Weekly that never amounted to anything substantive. Production Weekly stated SCREAM 8 as starring Neve Campbell, allegedly directed by The Soska Sisters (Jen & Sylvia) and allegedly written by The Zuckerman Sisters (Lilla & Nora). This is dated in April 2026, so this seems to me to be out of date or inaccurate information. SCREAM fans are thirsty for announcements. I would advise to be patient and wait for the facts to be revealed by the studio which will be coming soon! 🎃
