This is a solid take.
Sasuke’s mentorship of Boruto was very different from Kakashi’s guidance of him, and the difference shows in both the methods and the results.
Kakashi gave Sasuke the Chidori, along with some foundational Sharingan training. That technique eventually became one of Sasuke’s signature weapons. He later developed it into Nagashi, Senbon, Kirin, and other variations.
But Kakashi’s time with Sasuke was limited. Sasuke was already consumed by revenge, and before their relationship could develop into something deeper, he left Konoha to train under Orochimaru.
Kakashi tried to change his mindset, but he couldn’t reach him.
Sasuke’s mentorship of Boruto was different.
He didn’t just teach him techniques. He taught him how to apply them, how to read opponents, how to exploit openings, and how to survive against enemies far stronger than himself.
He also helped Boruto develop his swordsmanship, improve his Lightning Release and become more efficient in battle.
More importantly, Sasuke prepared Boruto for a completely different level of threats.
Look at Boruto after the timeskip. His composure, battle awareness, adaptability and overall fighting intelligence have improved tremendously.
That growth didn’t happen by accident. Sasuke played a huge role in it.
Kakashi wasn’t a bad teacher. He gave Sasuke something valuable, and his circumstances were different.
But there’s a difference between teaching someone a powerful technique and preparing them to become a complete shinobi.
Sasuke did more than pass down his knowledge. He helped shape the shinobi Boruto has become.
That’s why I believe his mentorship was more effective.
🚨 SASUKE WAS A BETTER TEACHER TO BORUTO THAN KAKASHI WAS TO HIM
Kakashi taught Sasuke the Chidori and helped him develop his fighting skills, but Sasuke took Boruto’s training to another level.
He taught him how to fight smarter, use his weaknesses to his advantage, improve his swordsmanship, and approach battles with the mindset of a shinobi.
He didn’t just teach Boruto techniques. He helped prepare him for the kind of enemies he would eventually face.
And considering how much Boruto improved during their time together, Sasuke deserves serious credit.
Was Sasuke actually the better teacher, or are we underrating what Kakashi did for him?
