With all these changes to official club car parking on match days. Is Lowe fields road still available for parking? #lufc

With the new Premier League & Championship kicking off soon & the EFL already underway, I’d like to buy someone’s kid a shirt of their choice.
I know how expensive kits are these days and whilst it’s only a small gesture, I’d love to help out.
Just RT this to enter.
Cheers. ❤️

Just think. If Sheffield United hadn’t been deducted 2 points…
Today would have still happened.

Someone close to Ampadu recently spoke with encouragement about the struggles of Sheff Utd, how it didn’t matter if Burnley kept winning, because Leeds could be clear. They were scalded.
He said he wasn’t just interested in getting promoted. He wanted to win the league. #lufc

One senior source said: “I don’t believe you can have someone just for motivation, but he’s (Guilavogui) brilliant. He’s the one putting his arm around Willy when he’s not got as much game time as he might have liked, same with Ramazani. He’s a father figure.” #lufc

If Brentford have a ‘no dickheads’ policy in windows, Leeds have not fallen too far short of a similar strategy. Guilavogui is a prime example of the calibre of person United have sought to bring.
Kouyate and Kramer were alternatives, but the former's move collapsed. #lufc

One source said, if there was one criticism of Farke in what have been two very good seasons, it is how long it took him to drop Meslier. There was consternation among some members of the club’s hierarchy at this sustained faith with the Frenchman. #lufc

There have only been two pinch points raised in conversations The Athletic has had with sources: Meslier and early kick-offs.
Farke felt, according to one source in the hierarchy, changing their approach to early kick-offs would only breed doubt among the players. #lufc

“Daniel doesn’t get enough credit for how put-together he is.” That’s the sentiment of one source close to the ownership. More recently, they contrasted Farke’s behaviour with Wilder’s at Sheff Utd. Wilder squared up to Plymouth players after a defeat earlier this month. #lufc

Hamer's release clause had expired by the time Leeds went in for him. Their £13m offer was rejected. They felt £20m may have got him, but didn't think he was worth it. They moved on and never landed that No 10 between then and now. #lufc

Rutter's exit was the big disappointment of the summer. Leeds didn't expect Brighton to see value in his £40m release clause. They were sorely mistaken. There were pleas from the boardroom to Thorp Arch for him to stay. He was sobbing as he said his goodbyes. #lufc

Last summer’s recruitment drive prioritised character over anything else. Leeds sources say Farke wanted players with the mettle and steel to get over the line. Forget resale value and development — they wanted players good enough for promotion now and nothing else. #lufc

Ampadu's name has come up again and again. He made his mark before it all started.
The squad's bonus is normally weighted in favour of those who play more minutes. Ampadu told Kinnear on day one he wanted everyone paid equally, from Rodon to Debayo.
That united everyone. #lufc

Before Wembley, it was evident to sources some players, not necessarily those who moved, expected to leave, whether Leeds were promoted or not. Farke’s clarity on what he wanted to see change during the close season was important to the hierarchy. They aligned with him. #lufc

Even though last season was a failure with the squad he had, Farke's future was never in question with the owners. Marathe was impressed with how he handled 2023's catalogue of loan clauses.
Farke noted attitude problem in last season's squad. He wanted to root that out. #lufc

This all started in the hours immediately after Wembley. Farke was asked if he wanted to go ahead with the planned promotion party.
He said yes, but it became a wake rather than a party in Leeds. It was his attempt to circle the wagons and clear everyone's heads. #lufc
