Spending the day in London at the Quaker Friends House helping with the live stream of the Annual Hawking Lecture. Really fascinating day meeting new faces and what’s going on in #MND care.
I’m spending the day at the @Digi_Northants #MergedFutures6 event. It’s fascinating listening to various talks from local businesses how VR, robopets, website tools, AI and much more can be used in healthcare and how it often improves the quality of life! 👍
So pleased with this piece of work that I worked on. Lots of amazing work was completed by the team last year, and I'm looking forward to working on lots of new and exciting projects in the year ahead. 😊
We’ve produced a review of our #MND information work during 2023.
Highlights include being re-assessed for the PIF Tick accreditation @PIFonline, new and revised resources and much more. There’s also a glimpse into our plans for this year.

Happy New Year to all my followers!
First day back today after a Christmas break and this week marks 9 years since I first started at the Association. A lot of changes have happened in that time and I'm glad I still get to be part of it all.
Here's to an exciting 2024!
It's apparently 8 years since I started this account on X/Twitter. Certainly seen a lot of changes in the Association in all that time. Happy anniversary to me! 😁#MyXAnniversary
I recently changed roles within the Association and it's exciting to see my first piece of work out there already. 😁 #feelingproud
When reading about #MND or #Kennedys Disease do you ever wonder what some of the initials or words mean? 🤔
We've launched a new web page which contains simple explanations for jargon used in health and social care.

I suddenly realised the other day, that it's been a long time since I posted anything on this account. Don't worry, I'm still here. So this is me popping up to say hello! 👋

We’re sorry to hear that Doddie Weir OBE has died.
Since sharing his MND diagnosis in 2017, Doddie became an inspiration to many, raising awareness and campaigning tirelessly on behalf of those with MND.
Our thoughts are with Doddie’s wife Kathy, his 3 sons, family and friends.
Such a powerful and emotional moment earlier today. An incredible feat over an amazing week. Thank you Kev! 🧡💙
Kevin Sinfield. You are incredible! ❤

What an amazing sight to wake up to, the realisation you have friends in high places. The #NextGenThinkTank is converging on to on BT in London today (We’ll do something discreet they said). Thank You BT “Let’s beat #MND together”. @RollsRoyce @mndassoc
Incredible news. Let's hope this is a step in the right direction towards a cure! 🙏
Sad to hear this news today. I remember getting a chance to briefly speak to him after he attended a staff conference. He gave such a powerful speech that day, it's one that will stay with me. Such a friendly person to speak to too. 😢
We're saddened to hear of the death of Len Johnrose.
In 2018 former footballer, Len, bravely shared his MND diagnosis to raise awareness. He went on to raise thousands with his #IceFoot92 Challenge.
Our thoughts are with Len's wife Nadine, his 3 children, family and friends.
This pretty much represents me (and others) who have been working around the clock to get the @mndassoc website back up and running. Getting there...hopefully! ⌚️👀
That feeling when you plan and get content ready for #globalmndawarenessday and then the website goes down so you can't launch it quite yet. *sigh*
It's my favourite day of the year today! (Apart from my birthday, Christmas Day, and Global MND Awareness Day of course! 😉)

Happy New Year everyone! First day back at work today after festive break and it also happens to be my work anniversary. Hard to believe I’ve been @mndassoc for 7 years now! Time flies! And there’s lots of exciting digital projects on the way this year too! 👍
It's Christmas Eve, so will logging off soon to enjoy the festivities. Merry Christmas to all of my followers, hope you enjoy what ever you get up over yet another not quite normal holiday time. Lots of exciting things planned for the @mndassoc website in 2022 so stay tuned!
