I achieved an interesting performance improvement today by changing an opaque type from Int to java.lang.Integer.
It may look counter-intuitive, but these IDs were used mostly by Maps or Sets. Map#get and Set#contains cause boxing and extra allocations on every call.

I'm writing a Scala 3 script at work. @VirtusLab Scala-Cli makes it very fun.

The script is a single file, with deps specified via 'using directive' comments.

I'm super happy to see this land! more libraries coming soon - with focus on simple code that is helping you be productive quickly. Scala-CLI has plugin support for other toolkits too!

I complained more about our tools than the actual users 🤣

@TomekGodzik is showing tools and ways to get started with #Scala.
I love the fact that he is not shy about problems (this is one of the many slides with known problems).
