I've been playing video games since the 80s, and I've got absolutely no intention of growing out of it! 🎮 I'm Simon. Capcom addict, JRPG lover and owner of a backlog I'll probably never finish. Expect honest opinions, nostalgia, gameplay and plenty of laughs along the way!

What's worse in horror games? Something jumping out at you, or spending 20 minutes convinced something WILL? Give me psychological horror any day. The tension gets under my skin! Besides, I'm getting too old for all these jump scares! 😂 Which do you prefer?

These prices are getting ridiculous! My second-hand car cost £4,000! 😮 I couldn't justify spending this much on a console when my PC handles gaming, streaming, video editing and much more. AI component costs or corporate greed? Probably both. Would YOU pay this much?
Pricing of the next-gen consoles as it stands right now. PlayStation 6: $1000-1600 Xbox Helix: $1200-1800

Mega Man 7 came VERY close to changing Mega Man forever. Wily escapes prison. Bass arrives. The Robot Museum is attacked. Then Mega Man seemingly decides he's had enough... “I am more than a robot! Die Wily!!” Should Mega Man ever be allowed to cross that line?

Does anyone remember the TV show Knightmare? Well it's coming back as a FREE point & click game!!! I'm down!
KNIGHTMARE IS BACK! An official point-and click adventure game based on the classic TV series - with actors from the original show. Coming 2027. But just remember - it's only a game...isn't it?

Remember getting stuck in a game before the internet? I remember a magazine publishing a 3-part guide to Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES. Each month I'd have to wait for the next instalment! Imagine telling someone today they had to wait for a walkthrough. 😂

The Binding of Isaac has set the bar TOO high for roguelikes. I've enjoyed Enter the Gungeon, 30XX and others, but I started recognising the same rooms and situations across runs. Isaac keeps me guessing. That's what I LOVE about it! What roguelike comes close?

Character creators are getting ridiculous these days! With all those sliders and options, I usually just end up recreating myself or my girlfriend as accurately as possible. Do you create yourself, someone you know, or someone completely different? Bonus for screenshots!

I know this video has done the rounds but I have things to say... First and foremost, if you are into playing games, then it doesn't matter what platform you choose to play on. Consoles ARE more accessible then gaming PC's. You can go into a high street store and ... (🪡)

I'm a technical guy either. Other posts I've seen about fiddling with RAM settings is misinformation, I've never had to do this whatsoever. And graphics settings are just in game options. It's as easy as changing the difficulty on a game!

As for Max himself, I have not watched the full video but I suspect it's just a carefully edited soundbite with 0 context. I think he's a good guy & I personally enjoy his content. This isn't a elitest post - there are lots of reasons why people choose consoles over PC. GAME ON!

Jake's reaction to Sherry in Resident Evil 6 cracks me up! He gets embarrassed by a bit of cleavage (I've seen more on a Friday night!). Yet moments later, she's naked and he's having a cheeky look! 🍑 All while escaping a facility full of bioweapons! Priorities, mate! 😂
