Another great Law in the Age of AI panel, this time at LA @Techweek_!
Building on last week’s SF panel, we continued the conversation on how AI is reshaping the legal industry, what it means for founders, and where human judgment still matters.
Thanks to @Carta for joining us to bring this discussion to #LAtechweek. 🤝
Second-time founders know a thing or two about building a company.
We're putting them in the spotlight at Second-Time Founder Demo Day, where serial entrepreneurs are taking the stage to pitch their next ventures to a room full of investors.
Happening now at #LATechWeek by @Techweek_!
Brought to you by SimpleClosure, @NerdstageHQ, @VC_Match, @cartainc, @CooleyLLP, @beige_media, and @getBevi.
Selling company data is arguably the hottest topic in the startup space right now. Our panel on What Your Company Data is Worth at @Techweek_ starting now #sftechweek
We're live at The Founder Reset for SF @Techweek_ !
Spending the day at The Melody with Unicorner, Deck, and @descopeinc talking about lessons learned from building a second time, what company data is worth, and what it takes to build something big.
More to come from today's conversations!
Big news: SimpleClosure is partnering with @Intuit.
QuickBooks Workforce customers will now have access to SimpleClosure when they stop payroll, making it easier to properly close their state payroll tax accounts and, when needed, their business entirely.
We’ve already helped thousands of businesses close roughly 14,000 payroll tax accounts. Now, alongside Intuit, we’ll be able to bring that experience to even more business owners.
We’re incredibly excited for this next chapter and proud to be an Intuit partner.
There are a lot of parts of being a founder that nobody gives you a playbook for.
So we’re teaming up with Founders House on a new series to have the conversations founders don’t always get to have.
We’re kicking things off on September 23 with "Nobody told me… how to pivot", a conversation about what to do when the original plan isn’t working.
Do you keep pushing? Pivot? Explore an acquisition? Or start thinking about winding down?
We’ll be joined by John Paasonen from Maxwell, Adam Roberts from Lifted. vc, and Olivia O'Sullivan from Forum Ventures to talk through the signals founders should actually be paying attention to when deciding what comes next.
SimpleClosure’s Carina Oriel will moderate the conversation, and we’ll put our panelists to the test with some real, anonymized startup scenarios at the end 👀
Mark your calendars: Wednesday, September 23 at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT.

Starting up has a standard. Shutting down should too.
Three years ago, we built SimpleClosure to close that gap. Since then, we’ve supported 6,000+ companies with the structure and rigor this moment deserves.
Today, we’re reintroducing how we show up—both visually and categorically.
Introducing: The shutdown standard.
