Re-reading the Kyoshi novels and I can’t help but headcanon her as an SZA fan. She spends her whole life carrying duty, grief, and rage behind a “stoic” face, and the “fandom” knows her as King Von’s predecessor. She’s not the ruthless figure y’all think she is!

She killed two people and agonized over both. Her and Rangi would’ve loved Ctrl and SOS. One of the most compelling characters in the Avatarverse getting reduced to a caricature sucks. When Avatar Studios animates this lady, the whiplash will be so good.
