We are momentarily logging back into this account to let you all know that The Simpsons Index is going on an indefinite hiatus. After 9 years & 318 podcasts, we've now reviewed the first 35 seasons of the show and we think we've earned a break.🧵
It sounds corny but for this podcast, I truly believe the greatest achievement was the friends we made along the way.
We owe a lot of our early success to this platform.
It gave us a space to find our community & fans.
It gave us a way to connect with other talent who would guest on our show & have us guest on theirs.
I’ve made some of my best friendships from this platform
We are on the sites you have seen people flocking to.
I am only vague because I’m worried about the reach of my post being limited for using certain words.
Which, no tin foil, I know is happening. We did way better numbers pre-Biffhead.
Hey if you prefer listening to podcasts on YouTube we got ya sorted!
We don’t do video but we have some lovely still images :)

It's Spinal Tap for folk music, this week we review the Christopher Guest cult classic "A Mighty Wind" where Harry Shearer plays a different kind of double bass!
Check out "Starring Springfield" on your podcast app if you like movies that star the cast of #TheSimpsons
Remember when Kamala Harris recited the Kodos/Clinton speech from "Citizen Kang"?

This was a great rec by @TimothyBurleson
B4 watching it we didn’t know much about the movie or the real life scandal on which it was based. But it is a fascinating story & the film is an underrated classic
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Let's get into the spooky season with two Treehouse Of Horror episodes that, without spoiling the review, we thought were quite good!
Out now at thesimpsonsindex.com or wherever you listen to your podcasts
The Simpsons Index retweeted
NEW EPISODE. @SmatthewAF joins the pod to explore the absolutely cursed TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE, and #TheSimpsons own parodies of the same classic Zone episodes in TREEHOUSE OF HORROR II and IV. springfieldgoogolplex.com/po…
Out now on Starring Springfield, our review of "Twilight Zone: The Movie" which stars Nancy Cartwright & Albert Brooks.
This movie has bonus Simpsons references being that 2 of the segments were plots in Treehouse Of Horror episodes.
