Went to a psychic for fun and she immediately said "I'm not reading you, something's blocking it" and I was like okay scam artist but then she looked genuinely disturbed and said "no seriously who ARE you?" Got defensive and asked what she meant and this woman said "your energy is like if static electricity was a person, genuinely what's going on with you?" Paid her the $40 anyway and left feeling weird. Told my roommate about it as a funny story and she went "wait that's the third psychic who's said that to you" and I was like what? Apparently in college I went to two different palm readers and both refused to continue. Thought she was messing with me but she showed me photos I'd sent her of the experiences that I completely forgot about. One lady told me to "seek help from a professional, not this kind though." Starting to think either I'm spiritually fucked or I'm immune to psychic reading which would be a very boring superpower. Went to another one last week to test it and she looked at my cards and said "I think you should leave" so that's four for four. Either I'm cosmically weird or I've inadvertently figured out how to scam-proof myself against psychics by having whatever's wrong with me.
