Don’t just debate supply chains and dependencies! Our strength grows in our fields - secure them! Our German MEP Christine Singer: "While others talk about global dependencies, family-run farms secure the daily supply for millions of Europeans — in every region of Europe. Short distances. Local value creation. Expertise passed down through generations. And that is exactly what we must safeguard politically!” ❗ Those who believe food security is created in anonymous large-scale structures ignore reality. ❗ Those who burden our smaller farms with excessive bureaucracy endanger Europe’s food sovereignty. Food is not just another commodity. It is security. Culture. Identity. As the EDP, we stand clearly for: 🌾 Strengthening regional value creation 🌾 Protecting small and medium-sized farms 🌾 Less bureaucracy, more entrepreneurial freedom 🌾 Food security in all regions of Europe Europe becomes strong through strong regions!

Today is Europe Day. 75 years ago, Robert Schuman launched the bold vision of a united continent. That vision lives on—through the daily work of our MEPs. They are on the frontlines in the European Parliament, fighting for a stronger, safer Union. A Union closer to its citizens, less bureaucratic, more responsive to business and ready to meet the enormous challenges of today. Europe Day is for all of us—and they lead by example. @sandrogozi @ciaranmullooly @MariePierreV @GrudlerCh @laurencefarreng @Singer_Ch_ @EnginEroglu_FW @JoachimStreit @oagirregoitia @YVerougstraete

Our MEP @Singer_Ch_ discusses the goal of ensuring that economically used forests are also seen as ecologically valuable, balancing conservation interests with productive, actively managed forests with future potential. This is what we ask Christophe Hansen, Commissioner-designate for Agriculture and Food #forest #hearings2024

We want rock EU… with you! @sandrogozi @GrudlerCh @laurencefarreng @YVerougstraete @oagirregoitia @ciaranmullooly @JoachimStreit @MariePierreV @EnginEroglu_FW @Singer_Ch_
