The last decent Windows OS (maybe 7 gets a pass). Now it is all enslopifishitication and wrestling back control and bandwidth of the product you bought and own.
Happy 25th Birthday Windows XP! On October 25, 2001, Microsoft released Windows XP and began a new era of Windows operating systems.

Competition time! I'll be adding some more tracks to #SuperPolygonGrandPrix & would like to add a track designed by one of you 🫶 Reply with a simple drawing of your track design & as much info as you like (location/ etc). Steam Key, cred and the track will be added to the game🏁

It baffles me how many people in Next Fest do not have their social media, website and/or Discord servers linked, very hard for creators to find you this way.

This has to be one of the worst AI disclosures I've come across in the sea of AI slop this Steam Next Fest. "I'm an Indie dev so of course I have to obviously use AI to write the code of my game....." blah blah blah 🥱 Absolute slap in the face to every other Indie Dev putting in the work and developing their games with real skill and passion. Learn the craft like all the others have! Make something with what you know and show players you can actually build a game. Earn that respect instead of just prompting AI to generate the code for you. If you want to use AI, fine. But don’t sit here saying “obviously” it needs to be used just because you’re an indie. Don't give Indie's a bad rep just because you're too lazy to learn the craft yourself and do the full work. Do better. #SteamNextFest #AISlop

Fully agree with this.
Replying to @Sitorimon
Next fest needs some entry requirements at this point

Steam Next Fest's double in demo numbers just shows the AI slop problem. We know most of these games get very little traction and will sink down the rankings, but this is the first time I feel I can't do the festival justice. I'd recommend smaller, targeted fests for indie devs.
