My new single ✨Twinkling Stars of Hope✨ is out! Inspired by Yuzuru Hanyu's experience during the Great Sendai Earthquake, I created a hymn of hope that serves as an overture to Notte Stellata, a show for the benefit of the victims of 3.11. It is with honor and pleasure that I composed and performed this shimmering music using piano, orchestra and voices complemented by taikos, shakuhachi and koto.
Here is the smart link to access the single on all digital platforms: karlhugo.hearnow.com/twinkli…
A myriad of thanks to Yuzuru Hanyu, David Wilson, Hugo Chouinard from Sk8mix and Mayumi Kaneko from Hapy Direction.

💙💛 “It was my dream. I wanted to perform very clean with the emotions. For us it is so important to tell the whole world what is happening right now in Ukraine. Of course, it’s a competition, but for us it’s not just a competition. For us it is something bigger"
Ukrainian ice dancers Oleksandra Nazarova and Maksym Nikitin performed a program at #WorldFigure today to music that portrays the story of life in their war-torn homeland.
