Something I value more than anything in life is honesty and transparency. This year in esports has been the antithesis of this, and I have given way too many chances and opportunities for people to do better. I'm done with it, GLHF

This is genuinely spitting in the face of the people that SAVED YOUR ESPORTS SCENE. Countless hours of planning production and casting… FOR FREE to save your game and we pick people that don’t know anything about the game. Congrats Gerry, ardy, sonsoyo, dread.
🏅 TGM26 Talent lineup The Grand Major would not be the same without its commentators! Once again, we welcome an incredible lineup of hosts, casters, and analysts to guide you throughout the tournament! Stay tuned for next week, as we'll share more info on the team 🎤

Crosshair overlay bans are the funniest shit ever. What do you mean I'm not allowed to have a fucking PNG displayed in the center of my screen.
I am officially banned from all of Battlefield 4 because I had a crosshair overlay that was active 5 YEARS ago that was on for FIVE SECONDS because I forgot to turn it off when I swapped games. Battlefield Agency has to be the most corrupt, inexcusable, disgusting thing this community has to offer, banning anyone they want for any reason they deem offensive to them, banning people from the remaining 5 servers if they find you too toxic, glitching or sus, how is such a corrupt and disgusting platform allowed to have so much power when their administration can't average a 2kd let alone have the correct opinion on whether or not someone is cheating. These people are shrinking the remaining community until it fizzles out, multiple LEGIT players banned for glitches that they were NOT TOLD PRIOR ABOUT BEING BANNABLE BTW are now unable to play the game because of their stronghold on the remaining Battlefield servers.

Nearly 3 years of no real balancing direction, poorly interpreted data and an approach of "everything needs to be at 50%" has ruined this game for me and ive felt like that for a while, im glad at least with S12 others are voicing their opinions on this.

state of medium is fuckin depressing their automatics also just suck, here’s how to actually fix them and make the class not unbearably miserable to play unless you play revolver. also just buff in air accuracy across the board man, it’s not rocket science.

Repeater not 2 tapping lights makes it impossible to use against a good light. You’ll get out ratted by invis and blown up before you can even think about shooting a second shot, let alone a third. Full autos still take 1-2 more bullets to kill. I understand we want gold lights to “have fun” but the glass cannon class should STAY GLASS. I thought respec was going to help with weapon changes not just buff light. There’s a reason why their own statistics claim that the more the player plays the game, the less the respect changes were liked. We’re balancing for casuals without even talking to the people that get paid to play their game.

This game used to be about expressing how you want to play, and coming up on 3+ years since being released, Embark's philosophy for balance is making me very concerned. Embark, let us actually have input in some of these changes before they're pushed to live, please. We went from having the healthiest meta in the game in a LONG time in Season 10, with every comp team running different compositions, weapons, etc, and showing a ton of variety.. to KS slop in S11.. and to whatever the hell even is S12. The Respec Order changes, to me, have been detrimental to the core DNA of THE FINALS, and since they were implemented, it truly feels like the game has suffered. Lights are now even stronger, heavies are weaker, and mediums are constantly being brought out behind the barn and shot in the back of the head. Make it make sense. From the outside looking in, because from what I've been told from various professional teams and players, there's been no attempt from Embark to gather input from outside sources in terms of testing. Every patch feels like we're just looking at numbers on a spreadsheet instead of actually looking at the health of the game. If something has a low pick rate, actually delve into WHY. Not everything has to be viable, some things are great as a niche pocket pick and should probably stay there. The fact we haven't had a full auto on medium in the greater meta for a considerable amount of time hasn't gone unnoticed, and the amount of people asking for it surely hasn't either. In terms of what Embark wants, they've made it clear they want teams to play closer together. So if that's the case, why did we give light a (now) 50 meter solo teleport that's now banned from TGM 26 because it's too strong? S12 was fun for the first few days, but it quickly turned into a headache. We've expressed time and time again how players, across all skill ranges, should be giving input into changes before they go live instead of how it currently is. We just want a conversation, Embark. This game means the world to so many people, and how balance is currently being handled needs a massive overhaul. Alright ill get off my soapbox.

Left S11, came back S12 and at least to me it’s nothing but: Random server errors, jank destruction physics, hitreg issues, input delay, translocator slop, perma staggered cashboxes, and more! But hey, MGL got buffed so life is good.

oh well, HLL and poke slop, who couldve guessed </3
I really hope the end result is good if we're listening to 15.4% of the playerbase on a decision like this

Uni’s the goat but giving light 25 more hp without nerfing every single gun and giving them a free 2 frame teleport has to be studied. We should be balancing around people who put time and effort into the game, not people who run it down in wt. light is the most played class by casuals because it can be seen as having the most skill expression, it’s the most fun from the outside pov. Could Luminon have done things differently? Yes. Can they account for the 15 angles uni could be with one of the fastest killing close range guns in the game? No. There are many good things this season but a lot of fumbles that GOOD players would notice if it was tested. I want this game to be the best and biggest it can be but having your streamers talk down on it because we’re adding issues to the already ocean of complaints will only hurt it. Light didn’t need to get buffed, good players make the class look broken pre s12.
Light gameplay in comp is so much more engaging in s12. Truly do feel like i can express my skill 100% again now. @reachthefinals #TheFinals

SA12 is now among the worst Heavy TTK guns on Heavy in the game, only behind MGL, Flamethrower and BFR. (only saving grace is the medium TTK being a 4 tap, which you arent hitting consistently).
