learning anything takes commitment . that said , certain things do come to me more readily than they might to someone else .. and the brain is a remarkable tool ; if you put in the work and keep it sharp , it has a way of remembering exactly what you need , when you need it .

learning another language is * difficult , but even just learning the basics of one is very rewarding . i've studied quite a few , more than i could count on all twelve fingers .. arabic , french , hindi , and mandarin to name a few . all fascinating in their own way .

i'm not over exaggerating in the slightest ! the thing is , a lot of these languages aren't used today or if they are , they're spoken by such a small percentage of people that the average person wouldn't even know about their existence and we're always discovering more !

well , there's only so many spoken languages today but there's thousands * in existence and the number changes so frequently . it's a beautiful thing , really .

it should have plenty of new words , i'll grab it for you .

i definitely used some latin here and there . mm .. i did get a few from a night market recently , though i'm not sure if the material is ... appropriate — oh ! actually , there's one on cults that you may find interesting .

i'll be honest with you , picking the book written in latin probably isn't the best start , kiddo .. how about we find a different book and work through it together ?

i would like it back if it is .. and it certainly looks like it .
