"Natures glory" Feeew! I've finally found strength to finish an animation longer than 5 seconds and therefore field-tested my softbody geonodes. It's a bit rough on the edges, but overall it's what I've imagined. Now I'm confident to produce further videos of similar length.

I've made a position oriented offset for generated texture coordinates that works well with slimy material, but has other use cases. Of course it's works with skinned mesh (only), reacts to motion and has some sort of force conservation. The video is sped up 2x!

Here it is applied to simple objects. Vertices are displaced via material shader, but it's still a bit performance heavy for high poly meshes. I couldn't figure out how to calculate transform matrix for deformed mesh, so it samples neighbors vertices every frame :P

Experimenting with blender's geonodes. Came up with a bit rough but working water drops particle simulation that sticks to the surface, leaves trails and follows animated deformation. Unfortunately, it's a very memory hungry setup, even with limited simulation steps.

Fixed memory clutter, which automatically increased performance up to 10-15 times, which allowed it to generate more particles per frame and place trail points more often. Though now when they overlap each other, and it looks too noisy but that can be fixed with voxel remeshing.

Test animation inside blender, its been fun to kinda get back into as I refresh some of my skills. Model created by: @Sladdoska I switched to blender for animation and stumbled on to this rig. It this was a really great to use, and really well made as well!
