It's now official. The 0-2 stage of the 2026 World Championships exclusively contains #1 seeds that won their region in the Summer Split. It is very likely that this might be the only time in Worlds history where both of the first 2 teams eliminated will be #1 seeds

Very important context to note with all the LPLs struggles. ZUIAN not getting in was the big headline, but from the drafts we’ve seen for the teams… this makes a lot more sense. Not a reason to write off the bad performances, but we can’t pretend the region just “sucks”

TES has Xiaobai (AL 2025) as their substitute coach on loan from JDG. AL on the other hand lost their main drafting coach Despa1r (TES 2024, Weibo 2025) to visa issues and now they're stuck with BigWei, responsible BLG's years of unplayable drafts. Unfortunately I predicted it
