My speech yesterday in support of @reformparty_uk groups motion at Kent County Council to stop taxpayers paying for language translation services. Put simply, if I went to live in France I would not expect them to pay for my translator so I don't expect our tax payers money to be spent on translation services at KCC. The bigger question is, if someone cannot speak English how can they possibly contribute to our society economically full stop?
