What I love about this 8–1 Sixers start is watching 4 stars feed off each other instead of lining up to take turns playing isolation ball Maxey attacks early and forces help, Embiid draws bodies to the elbow and post, and LeBron uses screens and patient reads to find the next opening instead of chasing his shots Brown punishes the rotation with cuts, catch and shoot looks and hard drives so a defense can’t just load up on Maxey The Pistons win showed the value of that balance when Maxey struggled and Brown took over the scoring while LeBron kept creating and Embiid worked inside through contact As a Sixers fan I’ve seen too many talented teams freeze when the first action gets stopped and this group looks like it can shift the pressure without abandoning the system #ThrowTheBallUp
