Today, I can upload 4k video over multiple mobile networks. These networks have big reach & capacity; multiple low band channels, multiple midband channels. Some mmwave massive bw channels. High capacity fiber & sites are close. $50-$60 avg cost. Leave that for what purpose?
SpaceX is setting up @Starlink Mobile to become a true powerhouse in the U.S. wireless market.
You’ll be able to have a Starlink plan the same way you’d have a T-Mobile or Verizon plan. The difference is that Starlink aims to deliver 5G connectivity directly to unmodified phones with no dead zones. Connectivity will work inside buildings as well.
New devices will include the chipsets required for Starlink Mobile’s full 5G service starting in 2027.
The big three (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T), are downplaying the fact that many of their customers would make the switch in a heart beat.
Oh the irony...i remember the interference concerns when the tables were turned. Of course, T-Mobile could never do wrong. Poor innocent T-Mobile, the little guy struggling to fight the big guys. Nobody every made any slides to fight them though HAHAHA
T-Mobile comes out against satellite D2D in the 2496-2690 MHz band. Argues downlink interference from satellites could cause a cell site to lose up to 96% of its uplink coverage area and reduce uplink speeds for affected customers by 88% to 99%.

AT&T wants a fiber customer that will also take wireless service. They really aren't fighting for the rest of you out there. Take it or leave it. It shows in the numbers.
AT&T combined consumer, business & firstnet all in...totals less than 390k net. 👀

AT&T mobility plans are stale & their network is uninspiring. Outage guarantees aren't moving the needle whatsoever. It's just a silly business expense.
Consumer Home broadband shines at AT&T. The business segment is weak, they won't even discuss it.

Generators…you know. This little thing called power. But yeah, AI.
Hurricane Isaias tested our network. AI helped it adapt in real time.
Good piece on how connectivity technology is changing disaster response 👇bit.ly/3UePGcG
AT&T wireless base is one sided. Where they sell fiber they take share. This is well known & understood.
The margin is getting wider. They doubled their net fiber & FWA adds but phone net adds are flat.
Their wireless plans & network don't compete, standalone.
Elons words…high bandwidth mobile network.
He needs spectrum, he needs terrestrial cell sites.
Auctions are about to get real pricey.
Cell service pricing going to fly like his rockets….get your fake ass price guarantees while you can 😂
Spectrum fighting to get customers back after Cox lost everything to AT&T Fiber, Verizon 5G Home & T-Mobile FWA. This is going to be an uphill battle but I'm sure they will offer free mobile lines because "its profitable"
Right next to the att tower. Maybe 600 ft away. Buffering video. I'm happy that others have a better experience than I do.
Several commenters in today’s video have multiple lines of service.
They claim to use T-Mobile as primary with backup line either AT&T or Verizon.
You are hustling backwards. Your more reliable sim is your secondary & not your primary. 😂

“TSatellite unusable”
So what was all the hoopla about when Elon & Mike threw the party a couple of years ago?
Probably just need to have a Starlink dish on call with a generator at this point.

Hawaii, a difficult place to operate a network, AI won’t save you
Power outages & One carrier doesn’t scale reliable backup power or fiber optic circuits
This was a video that was requested by a channel subscriber. His quote “fastest 5G doesn’t matter”
