In Tenet they film in Tallinn, and when the car chase happens, they literally connect two roads which are situated in different parts of town, pretending its a one quick straightforward drive
What’s a tiny movie nitpick that was painfully obvious to you because of your background or where you live? Like in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (2018), Wanda and Vision discuss catching a 10 AM train from Edinburgh to Glasgow, with Vision saying there’s another one at 11 if they miss it. Those cities are connected by such frequent train services that the idea of waiting an entire hour is hilarious to anyone familiar with Scotland’s rail network.

"Let's kill future of the game, I'm ok, I earn fine"
Mark Williams tells me he doesn't believe there should be qualifiers in snooker, and all players should be at the main venue. Williams: 'If that means cutting the tour down to 96 players, I think they should do it.' Radio Snooker is back on the air: open.spotify.com/episode/4Jy…

I find it ridiculous for almost 20 years how that first black dropped
It’s been 19 years since Ronnie O’Sullivan produced this PURE MAGIC. 🚀 A 147 maximum break in the deciding frame against Mark Selby at the 2007 UK Championship. One of the GREATEST moments in snooker history. 🤯

Absolute crap. UK players pay nothing to travel comparing to non-UK players. If an adult person doesn't understand there are players on tour who spend much more than the others just to be able to compete, he maybe should rethink sharing opinions on that at all
Ian McCulloch does not agree with paying snooker players just for being on tour. If 20 grand a year is all you are aiming to earn, he asks, are you aiming high enough? His case against the £20,000 guarantee, on Odds-On. 🎙️ Full episode of the Odds-On Podcast is live now on BestBettingSites.co.uk, Spotify, Youtube and Amazon #OddsOnPodcast #ianmcculloch #RoyBrindley #BestBettingSitesuk #bbsuk 18+ | Please gamble responsibly | GambleAware.org

Selby, Hendry, Trump
Interesting one this…. All in their prime. Squad of 3 snooker players with £10 only to spend. Who you picking? For me: Hendry, Selby & Trump. Does not lose! 👆🏻

1. Phase 3 2. Phase 1 3. Phase 2 4. Phase 5 5. Phase 4 Phase 6 has a chance of entering top-2 if both Avengers movies are great. But phase 3 was peak untouchable MCU

Anyone speaking about "cutting the tour to 64 or less" is giving zero shit about games future. Just watch how any normal sport works. Higher ranked players get places in main draw, lower ranked players play 2-3 rounds of qualifiers and eventually play the main event
Replying to @matthew230784
Not sure what the answer is mate but nobody should be coming in 4 rounds later IMO …… Possibly cunt the tour 64 at every venue

Children want to play pool because it far more accessible in literally every term
Spoke with David Gilbert in Cheltenham last week about whether he is seeing more youngsters playing snooker in his venues. Gilbert explained why they prefer to play pool.

Top players finally realising that there are overseas players who struggle a lot just because of travelling issues. Good way to start revealing that bigger issue more
A few complaints from UK players about the China swing lasting 5-6 weeks. Mark Selby also thought it was a tournament too long, but rightly recognises what the Chinese players have to do for most of the season, every season.

In case any snooker pundits see this, Zizins' first name either sounds "Artemy" (full version) or "Artyom" (short version) in his mother language

You are a gift for hungry journalists if you are famous, stupid and like to talk
Aryna Sabalenka was asked about 19 year old Teodora Kostovic saying ‘Let’s see if she can deal with my power,’ and Aryna says she felt like the 19 year old was faking her self belief “Going back to the comment of Serbian player Teodora… When you were a young player like her, 18, 19, those kinds of messages.. was it more like her self confidence? That she wants to boost her confidence even more? Or did you get it as a message to the opponent, because the reaction in Serbian media was even making fun of her because the way she expressed her shots are like so strong. Was it more like boosting herself or sending really a message? Aryna: “Me looking at this and then going to the match and seeing the reality, I think it was more like she was trying to trick herself and she was just trying to boost that self belief that she actually didn’t have. And I think, I don’t know. Sometimes it works. It always depends on the personality. Sometimes you have to really fake it til you make it. Sometimes you have to stay grounded and be real and work with what you have. So for me that message was a bit.. I would understand if it would be reasonable. But like I went in the match and was like… ‘which power was she talking about?’ Sometimes it works if you actually have that self belief. If you’re just trying to fake it and you don’t actually believe in it, it’s not gonna work. It’s important to stay true to yourself and be yourself. Trust yourself. I don’t know what she was trying to do with that message exactly. For me it was just like, faking it a little bit.” (via Wimbledon Press)

Just a stat. Played 9 out of these. Won 6/12 matches 0-2 vs Fan 0-1 vs Zhao 0-1 vs Moody 2-2 vs Boiko 1-0 vs Davies 1-0 vs Mertens 1-0 vs Leclerq 1-0 vs Zizins 3 of the wins en route to European title in 2022 (Davies, Boiko, Mertens) Zhao the most unplayable
Top players are still going strong in their 40s and 50s these days, but there is plenty of young talent on the tour as well. I've had a look at the 30 best snooker players under 30. Eight nationalities represented. One a lot more than the rest. metro.co.uk/2026/06/04/snook…
