Extensive coastal flooding but otherwise typical (if cool) weather through Thu. Chances for rain increase through the weekend... likely light Fri-Sat, but a lot of uncertainty for the weekend forecast, especially going into Sun. Great week to keep an 👁️ on the forecast!

Heavy rain, lightning, small hail and flooding are possible with this cluster of storms, moving slowly to the southeast. Avoid this area if possible. #cawx #carain

NWS San Diego has issued new Coastal Flood Warning for near-record/record-breaking tides and possible widespread coastal inundation in SoCal Sun-Thu. And there's no king tides or major storms in the mix yet...just elevated sea levels from extreme El Nino plus long-term warming.

The next opportunity for unsettled weather across #SoCal will be in about a week from now, as another Low Pressure System approaches the region from the West. Long-range Ensemble Guidance is hinting at a strengthening Jet Stream during early November, so will definitely be keeping a close eye on how this develops. #CAwx
