Fantastic having 17 gliders start the 2022 Texas Soaring Series @SoaringHouston yesterday! Missing a few but glad to have others back or visit. Conditions were clear blue & windy so not for the faint of heart but fun anyways. Next races are at GHSA Memorial Day weekend!
Hard work was done yesterday at SCOH thanks to Gabe Canas, Chris Mancini, Larry Danforth, John Riddick and Kevin Douglas for their hard work. We’re 167 man-hours into it but the gelcoat will be gone soon! Come check out the progress, there’s still room for you to help!
Today, Ethan Hoisington, John Riddick, Tony Smolder and @fire11flyboy worked on L3 again. It’s mighty slow work but like a fine wine, good things take time! When we get finished, she’ll be beautiful and ready to race the skies of Texas for years to come.
Our LS-3 refinish project is under way. Here are Pio Bradicich, John Riddick and Tony Smolder hard at work and safely socially distant. Thanks also to Gabe Canas, Ken Sorenson, Jacques De Paep, Eduardo Iglesias and several others. The work is just beginning so come help out!
