Wether it’s big G or little g god, I have to always remember there’s something out there bigger than me. When I can breathe through and turn it over…that’s where I find the calm. “I can solve nothing when I’m agitated” #RecoveryPosse
Possible long post alert 🚨
I read a lot in the morning, it’s part of my routine, helps set my mind right. When I came across this I had to stop and think. Never do anything out of habit? What is my morning routine? How does this apply to my sobriety? 1/
I thought that’s what I was supposed to in order to stay sober. I wasn’t drinking but I wasn’t happy. What changed? My habit! I learned and accepted that my sobriety had to evolve, things I did in my first 60 days weren’t going to be the same in year 1, and so on 3/

Nice reminder to accept the things I can not change, change the things that I can and work on the wisdom to know the difference. #RecoveryPosse
Good reminder this morning…acceptance and be grateful is what I pulled out of this. #RecoveryPosse
Time is all relative…what I really have is today. Take some action, move forward and just do today…keep things nice and simple. #RecoveryPosse
Early on it was suggested to me that I keep things simple in my recovery. That holds true today as well…don’t over complicate things, don’t try to break it down…do the work and remember who I am. #RecoveryPosse
Happy Thanksgiving here in the USA. Ran across this reminder this morning, I can choose what to consume and what to engage in, choose wisely, my serenity hinges on it. Lately, I’ve just tried to focus on the things that actually matter in my life…it works! #RecoveryPosse
Nice reminder that “This too, shall pass” applies for both the good and the bad. Control what I can control and enjoy the moments. #RecoveryPosse
Fear was everywhere for me, although I’d never admit it. From the moment I woke, I was checking for a note on the nightstand or coming up with an alibi. It was all consuming, and that was just the morning! It’s so much better on this side today. #RecoveryPosse
Good perspective on Step 2 for those who might be struggling with it. #RecoveryPosse
