Kwasuka lokho, and she is likely not the only individual experiencing this issue. These are local elections meant to address the needs of residents within their own municipalities. Requiring her to vote in a different city for a mayor who will not represent her interests raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and fairness of the electoral process the IEC administers! @IECSouthAfrica, shame on you!

There are no words that can truly prepare you for the reality of losing someone you love. A few years ago, our lives were upended by a diagnosis of adenocarcinoma. Watching a loved one, so vibrant face the harsh realities of cancer is a heartbreaking journey and saying goodbye to them has left a void that feels impossible to fill. Adenocarcinoma is a quiet, aggressive disease that starts in the glandular cells, but what it takes away is so much more than physical. It takes away shared mornings, familiar laughter and the future memories we were supposed to make together. To everyone who reached out, sent a message or held us in their thoughts during the unexplainable, unexpected difficult time, thank you. We love you and we will miss you always. Your memory will forever be a part of who we are. 🕊️🤍🙏🏽
