Dear @officialABAT,
It is imperative that you use your good office to issue a clear warning to the heads of security agencies deployed to protect the good people of Osun State and safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.
Reports of attempts to hijack or disrupt collation centres by desperate and rejected politicians across the state are deeply concerning and unacceptable, particularly given the large number of security personnel deployed to ensure a peaceful and credible election.
I therefore implore you to reiterate the commitment made to the people of Osun State that their votes will count and that the outcome of this election will reflect their genuine choice. The Nigeria @PoliceNG, @OfficialDSSNG @HQNigerianArmy @official_NSCDC and other security agencies must strictly adhere to this directive, while @inecnigeria must be given every necessary support to conclude the process and deliver a credible and transparent outcome.
The people of Osun State have spoken with one voice, and their voices must be heard. Their votes must be protected, and their mandate must be respected.

Bisi Akande came, he sacked our relatives; Aregbe paid our parents half-salaries; Oyetola gave our parents paper promotion only; now, Ambo is coming as Oyetola's stooge from the same political lineage. And you're questioning my choice?
Omor, God will take you o!

"What is the next right thing I can do?"
Not everything.
Just the next one thing.

Your approach should be different If you're emailing professors in Europe.
Don't think of them as lecturers. Think of them as leaders of RESEARCH GROUPS.
Many of them manage funded research projects, supervise PhD students, and run laboratories where new researchers are trained.
Your cold email should convince them that you belong in their research team, not just in their department.
That small change in strategy can significantly improve your response rate.

Do you know that...
You don't have to send a professor any document before you get a reply.
Yes!
You don't have to send your transcript, academic CV, or research proposal before you get a reply from them.
If this is what you have been doing, I am not saying you should stop. I just want to let you know that there is a better way.
All you need is a COLD MAIL that is strategically written to cover up for all the documents you have to send.
I have done this so many times and I have seen people do it so many times with positive results.
So, if you've not been getting responses from professors abroad, you can switch to this strategy.

You don’t rely on the CGPA alone. You will hustle like your life depends on it.
Before getting job
1. Thinking their high grade is enough to get them a job. No, you still have to hustle (I applied to over 50 companies myself despite my grade). Fire at all cylinders. Apply indiscriminately. Prepare for job tests and interviews as if your life depend on it (& it actually does)
2. Lack of information hunger. No job is coming to meet you in your village simply because you made a good grade. Move to city if possible. If not, explore internet as much as you can to get all info you need
3. Listening to doomsday prophets. A lot of people are out there that will tell you they know high-graders riding okada. If you listen to them, it may become a self-fulfilling prophesy
After getting job
4. Being defined by their grade. Do not build your life around your grade. Be humble to learn from anyone, including people you know did not have your kind of grade. The person that taught me how to raise journal (accounting) in my first job was a contract staff that was still running part-time HND.
Oyetola used 4 years as Osun State governor and didn't build ordinary toilet for Uniosun.
For a school in her budding era, that needs all kinds of infrastructure development, Oyetola couldn't do anything.
God will judge everyone!

If I had to start my study abroad journey all over again,
I'd do these 10 things first.
Not because they're easy.
Because they'll save you months of confusion and costly mistakes.
